Lara wrote the song with her former boyfriend, composer and producer Rick Allison. Initially it was about their love. But later she sang it in duet with her bestfriend Maurane and it became an ode to friendship and a legendary duet in France, and it reached #2 in the french charts. At last, you are back to Lara !😀 You were far from having completed the journey with her. I posted another comment with details on this song and the english translation. About this performance and the chemistry between all 3: the guitarist is Jean-Felix Lalanne, a ww famous classic guitarist. He was Lara’s boyfriend at that time and he produced and xomposed one of her albums. And the other singer, a contralto singer that complements Lara perfectly is Maurane. She is very famous in french speaking countries. She was Belgian, as Lara, and they met in Brussels at the very beginning of Lara’s career. They became very good friends and were used to spend time together frequently. Maurane was always featuring during the concerts of Lara to sing this duet. Then she abruptly died in 2018 from an heart attack and it left Lara devastated.

I love this duet. You know how I have loved Lara since the beginning of her career. Also I am so happy to finally have a new phone so I can comment. I have been out of commission quite awhile. Almost dying in July, (smashed my phone when I hit the floor) emergency surgery and recovery has been difficult, but I'm back. Love your reaction. I've been watching on my TV. Missed our mini chats. At age 54, Lara is still very active, her voice still grandiose , her look spectacular, She,s got a new world tour starting in april 2024, mostly Europe and mid/Asia after in June its in Canada Ottawa, Montréal.
