hi 9:00 Lara's mother is Italian and adagio in Italian means slowly or sofly, not only for music. "All of these nights without you All of my dreams surround you I see and I touch your face I fall into your embrace When the time is right I know You'll be in my arms (Adagio) sofly"
@elizabethwhite10684 жыл бұрын
This is actually a love song to the powers that be that inspire her songwriting, and begging them to not abandon her. She calls herself "a songwriter with a voice", songwriting is that important to her. Listen again with that in mind, you will hear a deeper love song than you think it is at first.
@delphzouzou45204 жыл бұрын
Adagio symbolises more the Inspiration than a lover. She calls and waits for inspiration to write songs, and hope the Inspiration will find her and will not let her down.

Since 1998 i've seen her at least a dozen times in concert. She never let me down. But her french output is far superior and her being half italian brings a depth and emotion to her singing..... The technically best vocalist by far and i love her lower ranges. So rich and velvet and yet she can belt out high. For me the "rounder" vocalist than others. This video is some 20 years old. She just turned 50 but still going strong. But this video is from her best live performances. The brilliant numbers are uncountable: Caruso, Perdere l'amore, Je suis malade, I Will Love Again and many many more....

This was a long time ago, her technique is outstanding even having to deal with reflux issues, that can hurt her beautiful voice, and better not talk about her acting an interpretation... Goes out of scale. The italian version in my opinion is even bigger, round, full of meaning, and her voice... F***** phenomenal. Some others have asked you to react to Caruso, her version is... Gosh, it's my favourite version ever (no disrespect to Pavarotti and the rest of the legends that have sung it) It's cool that you bring back old masterpieces... It gives me 2000 vibes and this decade was amazing. Good reaction!!

This song is from Lara's 1999 English language debut. It was during the Y2K era I first heard of her music through a series of major, lavish, showcases on PBS television stations. Since then, Lara has released more albums in both French and English. This is a fascinating song. Lara turned it into a singable piece by writing lyrics, but the melody is a neoclassical piece written in the 1950s by a music historian over some unfinished fragments by early baroque composer Tomaso Albinoni. (Thus it has a similar, and similarly long, history to the likes of Paul Simon's "American Tune"...you could do a whole series of reactions on classically-based songs...)

If it weren’t of you, I would have never listened to the English version Lara offered. I’m so into the Italian original version that is from an Italian composer of the 18th century that has been covered by the best musicians, most of all heavy metal 🤘 That explains why you feel this force when she sings ADAGIO, the emotion comes from her Italian grand mother. I am a French Québécois and feel so lucky to speak and understand many langages and when it comes to that reality I live, LARA FABIAN is The Best polyglot singer, for her perfect accent in every languages and of course, the international langage of the soul, the heart and sharing deep feelings that overcome any media which her divine talent is broadcast.

Lara one of the best female vocalists of all time. Here’s a young vocalist with a mesmerizing style. Diana ankudinova. Diana Ankudinova possesses the most unique mesmerizing memorable amazing atavistic tribunal primordial shaman goddess voice in the world -any age. At age 14 her incredible and legendary performance of an old ritual wedding folk song titled “ rechenka” ( River in English) Is -to this day-considered by many professional vocalists and coaches as the most unique and mesmerizing live performance by a vocalist -any age , in the history of Russian talent shows. And along with “ Human” ( low notes to die for.. she’s a rare mezzo contralto ) and “ Wicked Game” contributed to her winning not only the kids contest for 2 consecutive years but catapulted her to international stardom. with millions of avid followers worldwide. And you might want to read a little about her tragic younger years as an orphan abandoned and tossed into a garbage can unable speak for years after she was up for adoption by her birth mother at age 3. You may want to continue your Ankudinova journey by reacting the year prior to “ rechenka” when she was 13! She entered her first kids contest in Russia where she sang a song that required masterful yodeling. It was a masterpiece, a tour de force, some say the best yodeling performance in the history of videos showcasing yodeling, but in this performance it wasn’t just her amazing yodeling but also her body movement and stage presence and incredible as this might sound ( and I’ll shortly explain the reason why) but NOT ONE CHAIR TURNED!!!! After the song was finished and the judges turned around , the audience interrupted what they were saying by giving Diana a 5 minute STANDING OVATION. After the applause, the judges had her perform a segment of a French song made famous by Edith Pief and after she sang it , the lady judge covered her face with both hands in utter shock , disbelief and SHAME. The judges said they didn’t press their buttons because they couldn’t teach her anything. She was beyond their level already. But this turned out to be a BLATANT LIE and one of the worse scandals in Russian talent contest history. Because the following day it was revealed that the contest was “ fixed” the winner was “bought” before the show started. A total travesty of justice. And the following days over 80 million who watched the contest when posted on KZbin spit on the judges. But she got her revenge the following year and year thereafter by winning not only the Russian contests in two consecutive years but 60 more awards and contests. Please ( when you get the chance) I BEG of you to at least privately react by YouTubing “ Diana Ankudinova yodeling”. And you’ll witness a yodeling masterpiece and if you stay to near the end of the judges commentary ( making excuses and lying) you will hear a brief portion of the French song the judges asked her to sing that she NAILED! And there is a video of her outside a mall at age 11 singing this same French song but the complete version and she KILLED IT!!!! And at age 13 a classic flamenco song called “ me toy” hi how she performed with amazing emotional impact. And when you’re convinced that she’s one of the best female vocalist in the world ( like millions of others including myself) you may want to react to a couple of her newer songs: ( she just turned 17 the other day) like “by your voice”. and a masterpiece titled “Tomorrow is a lie” ( 4.26 one posted by HTB with famed composer Igor at the piano). I promise you if you continue to publicly react to Diana ( “Rechenka,” “Human” , “Wicked Game”, “Yodeling”...your subscriber base will go through the roof!!!! She’s now almost as popular as the great male pop-op vocalist Dimash. And has her own Facebook fan club. And if Diana and Dimash were ever to perform together in concert one day I can assure you when the upcoming concert is announced, it will be SOLD OUT in less than an hour. And if I could, I would mortgage my house my kids ( just kiddin) my everything to watch them perform together in concert. I have the perfect tag line : The DI [ana] & Di [mash] Extravaganza! DI 2 Squared !!! All love in isolation from Miami Beach, Florida,
