I did the Lara Jade Workshop in Sydney in 2015. i travelled 4000km to attend and it cost a lot of money but was definitely money well spent. i totally agree with you Jessica, Lara is fantastic and very generous with her knowledge and time. I learned so much. I made photography friends from the workshop that i'm still in contact with today. Brilliant experience to be totally immersed in photography for two days with like minded people.

I honestly feel that in couple of years, one or two you will be doing workshops on your own or maybe even be a part of the CreativeLive team. I appreciate the knowledge you are already sharing and I know you will continue to do so in the future. I am a fan of Laras for a while know, watched her workshops online and have been following her from her deviantArt days and I believe she is as wonderful as you have described.

Great review. I was also in the New York sessions. I felt the exact same about her workshops. Lara is so nice and so passionate that it was really infectious. Unfortunately I was super shy and also felt like a farmer when it came to my turn to shoo the models.

This is going to sound so weird but I randomly clicked the link Lara tweeted because I was curious and automatically felt that I knew you from somewhere, and then I saw your name and thought "Oh my goodness, is she Swimchick?" and it turns out you're the same Jessica! After paying the models for participating, paying the staff working with/for her, paying the fees to rent out that space, then buying all of that food, that number reduces dramatically lol And the cost of the workshop is only $1500
