Thank you so much for being here to show us, how it's done. I wish all this was here in 1969. People had to pay to learn how to play the instruments. I followed 3 The Beatles, Gordon Lightfoot, John Denver and right now you are added to my list of teachers. Again, Thank you, Lara !

I'm am a former professional musician that has taught for many years and having only recently discovered this amazing instrument am teaching myself ukelele for fun. With such inspiring, excellent and professional tutorials as yours this is made that much easier and, of course, more fun. So, once again, and from someone who really does fully appreciated the time and effort this involves, a big thank you.

How do you tune the ukulele for the low G? I have a tuner but don’t know how to get the same tune as yours.
@LaraMarkowitzMusic2 жыл бұрын
Hi Penny, if you have high G tuning then you'll need to swap out the G string for a low G. It isn't possible to tune a high G string to a low G frequency. It's fairly easy to change the string and there are tutorials on YT if you haven't changed strings before. Just make sure you buy a low G string for your size uke 😊

sometimes I ask myself if one has to be a grammar school teacher, a technical engineer or a theatre actor with a very clear pronounciation to do what you do. And how you do it.
