Mate, I've only just come across your channel and this is my second time watching this video. Has definitely inspired me to do my own trip to Alice Springs next year and complete the trail.

Thoroughly enjoyed following you on this awesome hike Cam, the scenery was amazing and those gorges were just stunning. I think my favourite scene though was the morning with the fog, so beautiful. Thank you for filming and allowing those of us, who are well past our youth, to experience on this wonderful journey.

Thanks for the journey mate. I was born in Alice and lived in settlements with my oldies and sister as a kid and spent a lot of time in those parts in the 70s. Watching it stirrs something inside me and I know I have to go back and do this trail, maybe with my family. Thanks for all your hard work filming and producing this - very inspirational and nice to share it with a decent bloke like you. Cheers from Sydney - Dave

Awesome bud. i remember doing a couple of day hikes around Alice when I was over there... Awesome place, epic ridgeline views that you can see at the tops how they are just carving and pushing up from the ground. A truly beautiful area, nature, largely untouched, views for as far as you can see... Don't take it for granted brothers and sisters

Hey Andrea. I was consuming 3-3.5k calories per day with a focus on hitting protein targets(120+g) each day. I usually carried about 2L of water at a time unless there was a larger gap between water tanks then I carried more.

July / August is ideal. Although it can get really cold at night so you need a warm sleep setup during that time.
