I hadn't considered Germans initially but this video and the really good practical advice about the interchangeability of the units certainly will make the figure manufacturers happy. Very flavourful. Now to wait until I am able to order hobby stuff again.

That was great. I love the foundry figures. I remember when they first came out, War Games illustrated had an article about them. Someone painted them with a black and white camouflage pattern similar to the way Conan was painted in the first Conan movie, awesome. I know I have that issue somewhere in my shed, I need to find it.There is a great article on foundry's blog site about the German tribes, well worth the read.

Wow. Excellent video. I really like the idea that this contains a campaign system. I contacted Warbases about the movement trays. As soon as this Corona Virus has run it course I hope to hear back from them. Also, thank you for telling us what figures you used! Keep the videos coming. Hopefully you'll supply us with a link that will allow is to pre order the rules?? :)

Warbases make lovely movement trays, but modt of those in the video are made by Sabotag3d.com

Paul Baldwin yes mate. German young warriors. They come with spears. I used a tiny dot of green stuff to make the shot. I then got about 35mm of fuse wire, bent it round the shot and glued it in the hand. A dot of superglue on the shot stuck it in place. It was dead easy.

Z germans are looking very very interesting. Is there the ability to play cross era battles, as in Carthage against EIR etc are the lists fairly balanced

There might be a supplement covering the punic wars, but the main rule book only covers from Caesar to the second century AD, I think. The reason for this is that it allows for a greater differentiation between the factions. If there will be a Punic Wars supplement, I guess it's possible to play EIR vs Hannibal, but it wouldn't be playtested I guess.

The first supplement will cover the Punic Wars and the Greeks and Dacians. So certainly there will be lots of choice going forwards.
