Let's head back to Chicago... If these other film makers can return to the screen, this franchise can do this... If Tom Cruise can keep banging out motion pictures looking still in step, let's show them Black don't crack either. There has to be full consensus across the board-- a movie that reaches across "adult" generations.. return all performers and new faces.. even updated music from the original soundtrack artists. Find timeless classics.. MJ's I can't help it, a Roy Ayers track, Zhane, Donny, Teddy P, Kanye, Lupe, Hurley and some other Chicago classics.. plus some new entrants: neosoul, casual hipsoul..that new energy. So altogether, the movie has to be solid: a timeless script, relative storyline, delivery at 1000, the settings, solid imagery, directing, production, opening, plot, surprises, incredible epilogue, and another timeless soundtrack--nothing less. The first movie was made on a dime budget--I say show and prove again...don't release it until production got that picture ready ready. Prove a new classic can go far on a dime more, and generate a gross profit. Like Nia, I just heard the soundtrack.. and recently saw the movie twice on Bounce TV---no doubt, two words: Time-less.
