Chipboard is great but then you have to wrap it that's a whole other skill for some so I made mine from card and made it sturdy by how its constructed making it easy for any level of crafter x

I have to watch this nine hundred times. Lol. I love it. I need to make it with 12 x 12 papers. I watched it but I missed it and can't figure out how big the back needs to be. Ugh I know I can figure it out but can you tell me where I should really pay attention so I don't miss the way to figure out the size of the back? It simply brilliant Amanda. As are you. I'm going to make the desk organizer also but I think that project is easier for me. Lol I'm a dunce. I'm 73 and I love making journals but some technical issues leave me feeling very very much older. Thank you for these wonderful videos Amanda. You make me smile a lot when you laugh. It's the best laugh I have ever heard and it's so hearty and happy. Makes me laugh too. And I need it. My 39 yrr old daughter was just diagnosed with cervical cancer. Soon she has surgery and we are all scared to,death. So laughter right now is such good medicine for us all. She makes journals too so I shared link to this beautiful video. Hugs

So the back size would be 11 and 1/4 wide wide and the same length as the one I did if you upgrade to 12 x 12 papers do everything the same except the width is going to start at 12 .. same scoring same width measurements . Sorry about your daughter but they can work miracles my younger sister had stage 3 bowel cancer but they got rid of it .. take care xxx

You can do it with pencil and ruler but a score board is a good staple tool and if you get right one you never need another … don’t waste money on a small one get 12x12 size make sure it has raised top and left side to ‘ butt’ paper against to keep it straight .. xx

Hey Amanda, I have a question regarding the folder. If we want to use printed cardstock paper do we initially make the folder out of the cardstock or do we use white cardstock then line it with printed card? I hope this makes sense. Great video!! ❤

You can use printed card absolutely. I used 200gsm card then lined with paper simply to make it stronger. Depends what weight your printer will take and how strong you want the folder to be. No rules you can do what you like lovely x

Maybe you measured wrongly it does not matter simply trim your piece to fit the same width as the pockets. This project can be made in any size x
