What I just *love* is that I see so many traits in you my gran (mom to 10) had as well. She also went to the store for "a couple things" and returned with bags and bags... "for the kids". My mom talks about it so often. It's so recognizable. :D And she still was like that when she had her grandkids (us) around. Whenever I see you pull things off the shelf then go, "just a couple more" I just have to laugh in recognition!

Amy my family loves Spam. We cube it and add to scrambled eggs. We also sred it and add a can of chili with no bean and about 2 cups cheddar cheese. Spread it on open face hamburger buns. You broil until hot and bubble

Tjank youso much, no more shopping hauls, our last (foster) childs leaves tomorrow morning our first born is 48 so will seem so strange having an empty nest and a very large chest freezer full and very large pantry full so won't be doing much shopping for quite a long while. Just bought 2 ×20kg bages of flour and Bob grows most of our own veg so only buy what's not in season, like tomatoes and cucumbers, Bob can grow all our salad green all year round. We dry a lot of stone fruit and apples and have a good supply of citrus and honey from neighbor and friends and own chicken for eggs, so you see I'll be turning to your post for my grocery hall fix. I love the peeled garlic it is like using fresh that you just peeled. It does tend to go bad quickly. I freeze them on a try and then return them to the bag and stick back in the freezer. They thaw out quick!! So just grab a few and there ya go Bob's your Uncle.

Sometimes you quickly mention how do you make them but I’d love to see more videos in depth of how do you make your favorite recipes. Hi Amy! Awesome haul! Wish we had discount stores around me. The prepeeled garlic is way better than the crushed. I actually buy the big bag from Sam's and crush it my self and freeze it. No extra stuff in it that way and it freezes well for months. I just pull out a container a month. The bag does keep well in the fridge for a while too. If you freeze whole they get a little squishy, so you have to chop instead of grating. Just thought I would share😁🥰 Have a blessed day!

We don't have the discount grocery here but we are waiting for our new Aldi's to be built and are so excited! On the Chiobani yogurt, I tried the flips one also and really liked it. I like Greek yogurt as opposed to the regular ones...greek yogurt is thicker and I find it milder in flavor than the regular yogurt. My grandmother used to make fried Spam sandwiches for us when we were kids ...I miss that, and I will have to but some :) Have a great week with the visiting family!

I had never heard of Culver's until February 2021 while visiting Springfield, Mo. Now I have heard it mentioned in a couple of videos in the past little while. It is now a favorite.

Judging by size and thickness of the stem, your peppers are serranos. These have more heat than jalepenos. So be sure to take the wise and classic Amy's advice and "Taste your food" when using. Especially if making something for a crowd. Good luck with the baby shower and have a blessed week!

I brown all my sausage and hamburger before freezing. I drain the grease off and freeze one pound pkgs. I can get a ton of already cooked browned meat in a very small space in the freezer. Thraws in two minutes in the microwave.

Good morning. I am glad you have family in. We are getting some rain and wind from the end of Ida. They are saying only a few inches of rain, but ground saturated because it rained all of July and some of August. We have had to make up for the drought the last couple if years. I wish we could redirect the weather. The west coast could use all the rain that the south and east have had to help control the fires out there. Not too much at the same time because it would cause mud slides. Have a fantastic rest of your day and I will see ya tomorrow.

I’m glad you’re able to feed your family without worry it seems. So many of us are struggling, even working ourselves to death to just pay the bills and feed our kids. The elderly are suffering as well. I really don’t see much hope ahead for any of us. Sometimes giving up seems like such a better choice, sad thing is, it’s not the right choice so we can’t just give up and leave. We must stay and suffer until it’s our time to be called home. Yes, I watch a channel NSL and she’s in Canada and does 50% off shopping and the price of meat is ridiculous high there! I live in the states and even our stores aren’t as low as where Amy lives in the states! Today where I live it is up to $9 a pound of bacon and everything going up! So any discounts you can find, grab them up as one can always use it up in a freezer meal right?! I wish we had discount store like Amy does! 😩

The great value salty sticks are my favorite pretzels!. If I am having a rushed day, I will do cheater chicken parmesan with the frozen chicken patties. Make some angel hair pasta, jar sauce, bake the chicken and top with little sauce and shredded mozzarella and broil to melt the cheese.
