I freeze green onions. I use scissors to cut them up and put them in a freezer bag. I use them for salmon cakes and I sautee them with butter, mushrooms and spinach.

I do the same thing. When they are on saleI get them, then use scissors and freeze them. They are also very handy for omelets and casseroles.

Merry Christmas today! My daughter and her family came yesterday and we had our Christmas and it was what I consider the best Christmas ever, since we had not seen each other in a long time. Thanks to Covid! But we took the chance and the 4 of us had a beautiful and wonderful day. I got to do my normal Christmas foods, not a lot, but what we love. Oh and I made your macaroni salad recipe and my son in law flipped out over it. Said it was the best ever! Score big time for Amy's salad. The jello with pears met my grandaughters high approval as well! Seeing my grandaughter home from college was so fun! Just one grandchild and of course I love her to the moon and back. She is so sweet and thoughtful. So thanks Amy for helping me score big on my Christmas foods and thanks for bieng a part of our lives by sharing your family, which feels like part of my family too. I really love when you do shopping videos and especially the discount store, but it also kinda bothers me as I’m sure it does others ( not that we aren’t glad you can buy groceries cheaper, we just wish we could as well ) because we have to pay such high prices for food......we don’t have a store like that. Here in Ky where I am, the price of groceries is ridiculous. It’s very plain to me that the poorer the area you live in, the higher the cost of absolutely everything. Merry Christmas to everyone, let us all remember the true meaning of Christmas this holiday season and cherish our family, friends and loved ones even if not together this year, for safety reasons or other reasons.
