100% it's from space heaters. Somebody wasn't getting heat in their apartment, so they resorted to using them.

Probably someone wasn't getting any heat and used another method that started the fire. A lot of times, These SLUM LANDLORDS don't provide adequate heating in the winter months. many times people have to use electrical heaters, or in my case, I just turn on the oven and heat up the place. Gotta do, what you have to do.
