Got to love the Golfer/Course mentality 'Must continue playing regardless!' Even with a winch line across the cart track getting ready to pull an expensive bit of machinery over, all they are interested in is getting the golf carts though without a delay!

@rdamirault3 жыл бұрын
the worst thing you can say to a recovery mission is how long it will take. I would get so pissed off if I was asked that. It will take as long as it needs to take to be safe and get the job done right.

@louielopez16383 жыл бұрын
Seriously!!!! What a stupid question...😂🤣👎👎💩💩
@dougrees62193 жыл бұрын
I was kinda wondering that to. I used to run heavy equipment . Loader rollers happen from time to time. We always used the equipment on site to up right it. Nice recovery but could have been done quicker and cheaper with the equipment that was already on site.
@chris76-013 жыл бұрын
Probably because they don't know how to do it. Or because they don't have all the fancy rigging equipment needed.

The longer that course official complains the longer it is going to take. Wish I could have told him, here is my bill for my call and setup time get someone else.
@towtruckaj3 жыл бұрын
Depends if it was the golf course who had the equipment, or if that was a different company, If it was the golf course that owned the equipment i'd tell em to deal with it or find someone else, If it was a different company you have to bite the bullet to be permitted to use the golf course property to do the recovery otherwise you have no way of recovering it for the customer who did nothing to deserve being left in the dust.

@agentcrm3 жыл бұрын
They had them in the back of the pickup. But they didn't use them. Straps are lighter and won't go as far if something fails.
@RambozoClown3 жыл бұрын
They had extra cable in the back of the pickup. But you could tell Trent didn't want to deal with that. It's heavy, has to be uncoiled and coiled back up, the straps are light, soft and easier to work with.

Golf carts going to get in the way? They need and can find another route. There are "always" two routes to get everywhere. Like blocking a railroad with a train. Can not go over or under a train. Think people, work smarter, not harder.

Why didnt they use another loader or haul truck to roll it back over an waist money from the numbers looks like it's a rental. But nice job tho guys. Loaders will roll easy when the bucket is high an it's in reverse or forward too. I've had a few scares in our loader at work I was whipping it around tho in the zone getting the truck loaded.

Is there a reason why you shackle the straps to one another instead of passing it through itself and locking it to the next strap? The question sounds like I'm being a dick, but I'm really curious.
@iffykidmn81703 жыл бұрын
You would be creating a knot how does one untie a knot after exerting however many tons of pull, Take two rubber bands and try it for yourself.
@plazatowing3 жыл бұрын
Well said! yes creating what's called a choker out of the straps not only makes it difficult to undo once tension is applied but it also reduced the working load limit significantly. Thanks for watching!
@wallacesmith8653 жыл бұрын
Obviously no experienced operators on this site. 1. They flipped the loader. 2. The other loader and backhoe, along with two chains were all that was needed to right the flipped loader!!!

Correct, but with large city contracts, most of the time they will not allow their own people to perform recovery operations therefore they contract it out. Thank you for watching!
