If you have only Puzzle with small pieces, I could imagine that it would looks really cool if you use one small Puzzpiece for 1 Letter. For example the Word "Diary" . "D" on one piece "i" on the next and so on. And than you could put the Pieces together or let little Spaces between them. There are endless possibilities. The Idea is really cool. Thank you for inspiring us. Last Thing: I LOVE Glitter. I want Glitter everywhere.

These are gorgeous!!! Really beautiful! BTW....just sharing something I bought that personally I've found amazing....clear gesso! It dries in practically no time, doesn't change the colour of anything, it paints on white but dries transparent, and gets rid of all shininess on surfaces. It's so good if you paint something for example, but you only have acrylic paints, which tend to have a shiny finish, but not everything suits a shiny finish! Instead of having to buy a ton of different textured paints and papers - or even gluing on with PVA leaves a semi shiny finish.... It's no problem! Just paint on a thin layer of clear gesso last of all, and it helps seal your project as well as leaving a matte finish, that has a very very fine sand texture. My pot wasn't super cheap, (around £10) although to be fair it was the first time I'd ever seen it and decided to try it out, so there could be cheaper versions than the one I got - BUT it's just ONE product! No matter if you're using magazine pages, shiny cardstock, shiny beads or cabochons, recycled packaging, PVA glue, acrylic paints, stickers - anything that looks too "modern" for a vintage or shabby chic finish, you can dull down the finish! Maybe I'm just late to discovering this, and everyone else already knows about it! 🤔 But for those that haven't, it's amazing! My one is by Windsor & Newton, but I'm not declaring that to be the "best" as it's the only one I've tried, but I do love it! You can use all your old supplies that you tend to avoid because they're too shiny textured... I've got stickers and cardstocks that I've had YEARS, that I bought when I first started buying craft supplies. Bulk bought from cheap shops and kid's ranges.... I'm sure we've all got those cheap things in our stash, right? That were a "bargain" - and yet are sitting at the bottom of piles unused, so not THAT much of a bargain after all! 🙄 But you can dig them all out and give them a new shabby lease of life with clear gesso! I thought of it immediately when you peeled the top layer of your puzzle pieces, which is not necessary if you plan to cover them with fabric or tissue, you could even glue things to the back of the pieces instead of the shiny side....but even just painting and layering buttons, beads, cabochons and then painting the whole piece - can look gorgeous but too shiny to look vintage. So if you have tons of stuff that you tend to avoid for that reason, and don't want to buy a whole new set of paints in different finishes, or different glues or sealers...you can just buy a pot of clear gesso to solve all your shiny issues! Just thought I'd share that in case others didn't know! But anyway Natasha, these are very pretty, so was the waterfall journals you made but I didn't comment on that video, but that's two project ideas that have REALLY appealed to me out of your recent videos! Looks like I'll be rummaging in charity shops for preschool age jigsaws, so I can glue a finished piece on the front of a waterfall journal!!! 😁😁😁

Hi Tami 👋🏼 I am new in the paper crafting world and I didn't know about clear gesso so thank you for sharing this 😊
@tamielizabethallaway24132 жыл бұрын
@@saucysoul7865 hi Jennifer! I'm glad it was of use to you to know! I'm seriously amazed by it....such a simple thing...often it's the simple things that are the best! 😁 I've been googling it since I typed that, and seems there are brands that sell pots double the size I got, for a bit less than I paid for mine! So guess what's waiting in my eBay basket! 😂🤣😅 You won't regret it! I've used it home decor bits too...such as acrylic painted plant pots etc, so they look and feel more like cement/clay/rustic finish...not looking shiny/ceramic and bright looking. Indoor pots I mean!!! I've got a lot of coastal decor, rustic woods, pebbles, shells, rope etc...and I only have normal cheap acrylic craft paints...so it's great because I can paint bits different shades, add the gesso on top, and everything goes back to looking natural texture after. 😘😘😘
