Amazing video! Keep ‘em coming 💜💜💜 A video teaching us about stone sizes and setting sizes would be so helpful!

Hi Brian. Thank you for your comments and suggestion. Our jewelry supply website has all the rhinestones and settings organized by shape and size. The easiest way to think of millimeters is to divide an inch into 25 parts, since there are 25.4 millimeters per inch. We have a conversion chart of PP, SS, millimeters and inches at: www.jansjewels.com/rhinestone-size-chart-pp-ss.html We also have written a Windows software program for stone sizes here is a video for the software: www.jansjewels.com/jewelers-assistant-bead-calculator-free-software.html

How to polish background rhinestone after soldering pleash vedio
@Jansjewels5 жыл бұрын
Hi Mohd. The rhinestones are set in silver plated brass settings. That is why I am using the heat gun to solder the settings together and avoid discoloration from using the torch. The back of the earrings are not polished. I only cleaned the settings with soap and water.

Hello, Is this available in a kit? Also, why do you use both a heat gun AND a torch?
@Jansjewels3 жыл бұрын
I use a torch with brass setting. This may require sending the finished piece out to be plated. I use the heat gun with silver plated brass settings and low temperature 300 degree prefluxed solder. These pieces do not need to be plated and will finish nicely. These earrings are not offered as a kit. We do sell all the components and the material list is at the end of the video description,
