Great Thrift Haul. I've been looking for MTM dolls when I go thrifting, so I don't have to go on Ebay or Amazon just to get them.

Wow, you did find some nice ones! I never find anything at our thrift shops here. I guess I need to go more often or something. Can't hardly wait to see what you got at the third place! Have fun with these! Recently, a friend gave me too millies from the 80's..well..their heads, anyway..and I had picked up the cheap DG dolls that were in "the closet" since I am working on giving somebody a closet for their birthday. Luckily, after combing that hair out, I could pop their heads on those dolls and really they look nice on those bodies.

Thrift shops here seem to be hit or miss, it's usually either the bagged dolls or nothing. Oh how interesting that you got some 80s heads! I bet they look nice on a more current body. :)

Can’t wait to see the dolls you create with the donor bodies! What Savers did you hit? I was at two savers this weekend. The first one was in Orange and I thought I found a naked 80s Christie doll. Nope! Got it home and discovered it was Baywatch Barbie. I was a little disappointed because you know how selective I am at adding dolls to my miniature doll collection. It’s ok, I dressed her in a pink leopard number and she looks pretty. One thing I noticed is that Savers prices seem to be rising. 😛

I had no idea it would be so hard to match heads and MTM bodies! I ended up going to Savers in both Manchester and Newington and then I hit Heck's just for good measure. The last part of the video is from Heck's, they were the only 2 dolls that I didn't recognize from past trips there! Although they did have a bunch of Y2K MIB Holiday Barbies (I didn't get any). I just searched up a photo of the AA Baywatch Barbie and she's pretty! I bet she looks nice redressed :) UGH wait til you see what I (over)paid at the Newington Savers - the Manchester one was way cheaper!!

Soak white top in Hydrogen Peroxide for a few hours to get out yellow and brown marks out of doll clothes.
