The girls in the video had sex in a museum while pregnant. She tried to sing songs with swear words in church. If you think that's okay, then I feel sorry for you.

Great interview, thank you, Nadya. I was very worried Vladimir Kara-Murza might end up like Alexi Navalny. Glad he’s safe now and with his wife and kids. :) *edit to correct 1st name

Yeah, so happy about Kara-Murza. I heard today that Navalny was supposed to be part of this exchange before his murder 😢

@ZolaClyde Kara-Murza is literally a traitor that worked with the US government to target sanctions so as to hurt Russia the most, and Russian individuals with whom he disagreed. Another of the released, Ilya Yashin, is a real if misguided patriot.

Nadya is a fucking badass punk. Imprisoned for speaking out against her government. Growing up in the D.C. hardcore scene in the 90s we had two rules: 1. Respect everyone. 2. Fear no one.

Cannot express my gratitude and respect for Nadya, as well as Pussy Riot. 100% understand the workaholic comment, but when it is human rights at stake, next to impossible to take a step back. So elated that Alexei Kara-Murza is back with is family given previous events. Hoping for the end of tyranny in Russia.

Russia has laws against actions that would wound the feelings of religious believers. That's why they were arrested. We don't and probably couldn't have such laws here...but Russia is another country and they have the right to make and enforce their own laws.
@pf12-x6x5 ай бұрын
They were arrested because they sung "Punk Prayer", not because they wanted to offend regular Russian believers. The song's lyrics attacked Putin (and his enabling Patriarch) with the lyrics: "Virgin Mary, Mother of God, chase Putin out. Chase Putin out. Chase Putin out....Patriarch Gundyayev [Patriarch Kirill's worldly last name] believes in Putin. B*tch, better believe in God instead. The Virgin's girdle can't replace the demos. The Virgin herself is with us in protest!"

nothing but propaganda to spread hatred , congrats msnbc , you're a real hero , a true benchmark in how NOT to go about journalism , which requires showing both sides of a story and letting the viewer / reader decide what's good or bad ... as for nadya , she's too young to remember the bread lines and all the other lines prior to putin , the quality of life has gone up in a huge way for russians in the past 25 years , is it perfect ? no but then again , what is ? ... at least putin has the balls to stand up against the western hypocrisy / hegemony / neo-colonialism
