Hi Jeanette, I wonder if you plan to sign up for pre natal course. It’s useful to attend as the course will cover what kind of exercise a pregnant woman can do all the way to the day she gives birth, also to teach the husband to massage his wife when the labour pain gets more intense. It’s beneficial to know more and be well prepared for the arrival of the baby ☺️

Yes I want too!!! But sadly in Korea, they don’t have like full-hands on prenatal courses for us to participate in because they believe in the Joriwon system, where it gets done for you? However, the society is changing nowadays and there ARE short courses avail!! (1-2 sessions) and yes, I’m gonna participate in that :’)

@@JeanettesWorld lol I’m a mother of 3, my eldest has just gotten married 😂 just want to share with you my experiences. I went for my prenatal when I was expecting my first, the rest of the 2 no need liao. I’m not sure if the Koreans uses epidural, an option many Sporean mother would opt for but the first birth is not so bad the labour pain is bearable if you had experienced the severe menstrual cramps, it’s something like that however, the intensity of labour pain increases as you have more births ☺️. Usually, the labour pain comes intermittently like very 1 hour, then slowly every 1/2 an hour then it gets shorter till the dilation of the labour hit the maximum of 10cm (size of the vagina) the bb is on the way out so you need to feel the pain to push the bb through the birth canal out into the world ☺️ When the pain is intense, Noti can massage your back to help relief your pain (telling the brain to focus on the massage & not the pain). So the prenatal class does cover the breathing process during the labour process and teaching you techniques of strengthening of your pelvic floor (this is important) Oh do go for walks often as it helps strengthen your breathing and endurance ☺️ The final stage before birth is when the bb is engage at the pelvic, head facing down, you’ll feel the weight but still go for slow walk ☺️ it helps with the birth process. Enjoy your 3rd trimester and do what you can, eat healthy, be happy and enjoy this period of preparing to be a mother 😄 God bless you!
