Largest Tree in Turkey- İnkaya Çınarı - Bursa

Bursa is full of monumental trees and the most common and well-known of these trees is the İnkaya (Ulu) Plane Tree. It’s estimated to be 600 years old and situated in İnkaya Village on the Uludağ Road, 4 km from the Çekirge district. With a diameter of over 3 metres, 10 meters in circumference, and 37 meters in height, this huge tree is thought to be the largest physical tree in Turkey. It has 13 main branches and each of its branches is as thick as a tree trunk.
