Fascinating, best Bursa intro! Bursa is an underrated historical city in the world, a gem. Koza Han still has a magical Silk Road atmosphere.. Tombs and the Madrasa transpire tranquility. Ulu Camii is unique, the true "calligraphy cathedral". Apollo & Athena in bronze are priceless, and masterpiece-filled 1326 Conquest museum is top of my list to visit in Bursa now. Looking forward to your Konya video, I'm a big Rumi fan!

I never liked enginar, artichokes until I tasted the artichoke dish made by my mother-in-law. It was very tasty. Turns out I haven't eaten a properly cooked artichoke before. It is important to cook the artichoke correctly and with the right gridients. It is absolutely wonderful and tastes like no other vegetable, so it cannot be replaced with any other vegetable. From now on, we always buy Artichokes in season. I hope one day you will have the opportunity to taste a beautifully prepared artichoke as I mentioned Uncle Mick.

Your Bursa video brought back happy childhood memories. Back in the early 1960's I was a young boy and lived in Ankara for about 3.5 years. My parents believed in travelling widely, so my twin brother and I got to see much of Turkey. We stayed at the Ataturk Palace in Bursa a couple of times. I remember the domed building for the hot springs, the orange poppy fields, and freezing my butt off in the hotel/restaurant on top of Uludag because their boiler wouldn't work. Thanks so much for sharing. Your videos are so well done they make me yearn to go back! Have you considered taking cruises along the Turkish coast of the Black Sea and Mediterranean? We sailed on a Turkish liner named the Trabzon along both coasts. If those cruises are no longer available, how about visiting the towns along the Black Sea?

For those whom thinking about visiting Bursa, Istanbul or any other big city in Turkey, there is couple things to note. As of right now there is no Uber in Turkey, and some taxi drivers will probably charge you 3 to 5 times more than usual price if they find out that you're a foreigner/tourist. Even if they don't charge you more they'll probably pick unnecessarily longer routes so that they can get more money out of you. This is really sad, but this is the current situation.
