I agree! As much as I want to hug one, I never would. They belong where they are, away from people.

What an absolute horrible thought!, I'm originally from Northern Minnesota and I have watched for 60 years more and more public land being sold and developed! It makes me cry to go and visit a once secluded and undisturbed lakes to 10 years later seeing new roads and developed shorelines. 😢😢

Thank you for the beautiful scenery! They look healthy, and not stressed. Sad on one hand you want to let nature be nature, but when you see a sick animal, hungry or broken limb, your instinct is to stick your nose in and help it.

There should be? We have a lot of deer, but I am not aware of the status or health of the deer population here. I know places have that wasting disease or whatever it is, but I don't know the impact in Minnesota. I do know in the past we've lost something like half the entire elk population we had. 🥺
@holgerawakens77842 ай бұрын
Not to worry. there's plenty of beef cattle calves nearby and I'm sure they'll find some golden retrievers and german shephards to feast on

Wolf packs self-regulate. If the pack has this many healthy adults, they're fine. The worst that'll happen is a few split off from the pack.

Makes it harder to catch pray actually. They benefit with deeper snow and weak deer in harsher winters.

Best part of Minnesota is the wolves around voyagers. Terribly liberal leadership but at least there is no bear hunting with hounds in MN. It has a huge impact on wolves. Wish Wisconsin and Michigan would wisen up.

Thanks for another stupid feel good program that has eliminated the fowl and deer hunting. Which by the was a big economic boost to small business and towns. Bring the wolves to the inner metro where they can mingle with the real wolves of MN.

Well way up in the mountains they are not bothering any farmers cattle if you have to just manage them not kill every single one of them
@charlessmith42422 ай бұрын
* Very few mountains in Mn. Like none. In the western states, you'll find cattle spread out on various terrain. Winter time comes and there is not much for the wolves to eat high up in the mountains. The game migrates to lower elevations, the wolves follow their food source.
@martybritton2672 ай бұрын
@@charlessmith4242 ok where ever they are roaming but like I said just manage them when/where needed don't kill they all and yes I am a hunter/trapper and I wouldn't mind harvesting just 1 of those majestic animals by laws passed so it's legally harvested
