Good Morning to both of you from Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR. Here in the New Territories of HKSAR, the Oriental Magpie can be seen from time to time. The Oriental Magpie is stockier, with a proportionally shorter tail and longer wings. The back, tail and particularly the remiges show strong purple-blue iridescent with few green hues. They are the largest magpies.

Happy anniversary!❤ I'm trying to get to 300 birds this year (my actual goal was surpasing my 2023 record but since I already achieved that I was like why not). I'm at 293 and I hope five weeks are enough for 7 new species!😊
