I've been watching this series since the year 2001 and this has been one of the best. I don't know how they can keep improving on themselves after 20 years. Totally remarkable. The end of the first episode had me in stitches.

@@TheSagaContinuesWu Over 11 seasons across two decades I think they're bound to throw in a few years where it's more about reconnecting with the characters, interrelationships, personality reveals or development and reintroduction of the cast as they are today to a by now perhaps somewhat weary audience. This season is that refresh, spiced up with pieces of excellent comedy here and there but not one that's out to break the record and outdo its previous comedy efforts.

You should probably rewatch the clip. Larry didn't violate the stick-to-your-own cushion rule bc the section he's sitting on is literally _one big cushion._ It's intentionally designed to fit more than one person. The cushions only section off where the couch sections off, a fairly common design. And we see it several times in this short clip, it's hard to miss. You can see it here, 0:10. And here, 0:16. And even more so here, 0:25.
