Both were great athletes but GSP took the time to really master the technical and stratigic side of the sport while Kos just spammed overhead rights and doublelegs and never bothered learning footwork or defense.

It is like watching the densest guy in the room assess himself as being so much more intelligent than anyone else, and proceed to prove it by outwitting himself focusing on a male nurse. Josh lost the minute he attempted to use his head, unable to outwit even his own ego with regard to the nurse, he literally couldn't let it go like somehow a male nurse was a personal insult. Just by the fact a guy who is a male nurse insulting him it somehow to Josh meant that GSP was trying to emasculate him and he couldn't handle it. Was almost my favorite part of that series, my favorite part was drunk Muay Thai coach, Jean-Charles, legit badass. Would have loved to see how quickly Jean-Charles could take Josh out with a single kick... but not what the UFC producers wanted I am sure, still would have been hilarious...

This just proves that GSP its not only a great fighter if not the best , but incredibly intelligent. Its not coincidence that the fighters he choose won most of the fights , how he played a Jedi mind trick to get the guys he wanted. You can also see how he is really humble and reserved to certain extent, teaching that to these guys definitely assuredly him the win.
