Nylon string player here who just bought my first steel string - a Larrivee OM 40 RW. Coming from a rosewood 'classical guitar' background to a mahogany guitar would have been a sick joke, but that mahogany really sounds incredible. I'm happy with either of those guitars!

Nice video! I just wanted to point out that the bracing is different too: you are comparing a OM-03 with an OM-40R. According to you, how does the moonspruce compare to the sitka spruce? All other things being equal. Regards!

Do you know what strings action Larrivee usually have ?

Believe they're still using D'Adarrio EXP's and action is usually set at about 2.25mm at the Low E 12th.
