It's a stereotype. Every White ball player is always painted with that brush. Not athletic/can't jump/ = BS and proven wrong. It's just put out there to disgrace the race and it caught on.

Remember this was Bird on the downside of his career, he retired in '92 so this was '88 and had he not been injured with his back, things would have been a lot better and perhaps he would have more titles.

Lol oh c'mon. I'm huge fan of Bird's legacy. I live very close to French Lick, but this does not constitute "dunking on Walker." Kenny had enough common sense to get out of the way of a guy who had a full head of steam behind him. Had he tried to block it he simply would have picked up a foul and given up a 3 pt play. You should reword the headline; "Walker shows good judgement."
