yes,, Larry used to use teles and strat type guitars for awhile because they are the cleanest sounding axes and cut through everything else as far as other instruments are concerned. The highs are nice and clean!

What's even more mind boggling is Hendrix doing Red House on an SG. Its on here somewhere if you want to check it out. Larry could make a sledgehammer sound good so Tele, 335, Strat all sound good in Larry's hand. As I keep tellimg myself, its the player, not the gear.
