It pisses me off to see all those EDM/House music documentaries and absolutely no mention to Larry Heard. What a humble, down to earth guy and what an amazing body of work.

Can You Feel It is THAT one. Truly transcendent piece of music...the Jackson shout in the beginning, the hot synth, the build up, the pulse, the slow down...no bullshit

So much to learn from hearing such a real thoughtful & humble musician speak - zero ego, trusting their intuition - don’t think too much; just feel - a luv for music in all its forms, together w/ luv for a fly shirt (vintage?), one very few could get away w/

’’i hate to have to think to much cause then it turns into work and i want the music to be a pleasurable experience and i think even on a primary level that’s conveyed to people’’ 59:20 To my knowledge this is one of the most honest and real comment i've ever heard on music production, Larry is such a great person, i wish i could reach him, in any case he showed many people the way... a true artist

So glad I found this. Never heard the guy talk before so this is such a treat! I have admired his rare underground tracks since I was a kid and it's nice to hear the history behind it from the source. Very underrated and such a humble guy. A true innovator and legend.

Im here to listen to the man talk. If I want to hear his music, this is KZbin. His music is accessible but rare to find his words...to keep complaining about music being cut out is a slap in the face to the man, who created the music SMH

"Jack" or "Jacking" was a dance move/style that kids were doing in the 80's at parties and clubs. Think of it as artistic body grinding, very sexual dance moves. Eventually the Chicago artists/DJ's started to use the term "Jack". IMO there was a time in the mid-late 80's where it was played out and kind of annoying to hear "Jack this, Jack that, Jack Jack Jack" all the time.

Replying to Mr. Barry down there,,,,,, "When this program was on your cable channel I could not even see it" "Now because KZbin and Redbull I can hear to Mr. Larry talking about his music life" The rest is about having the experiences of clubbing. By the way I was a bit teenager while that USA movement, but I love the origins of house. "Because in my HOuse.... Only house music" jajajajaa Fingers Inc it´s been any time in my collection. Best,

I noticed that. I was wondering why your video was taken down. Now I know :( I didn't even get to watch it fully. I watched the first few minutes then bookmarked for when I had time to enjoy it, and what do you know, it's removed when I go to watch it. Thanks a lot Red Bull...
