Good video. It's a pity no labels seem to be interested in putting out Von Trier's MEDEA on bluray. I have an old Italian dvd, but the PQ isn't all that great, and the version on Danish tv's homepage is of a mere 480p quality. I'd love to see a proper release on blu.

I just realized that I saw /this/ Medea on KZbin years ago, not Pasolini's. I was um... very confused, because I think I was expecting Pasolini's and Maria Callas never showed up.

Funny. Well, at least you didn't accidently watch one of Tyler Perry's crap Medina movies. As a side note... I have a disc interview with gothic scream queen Barbara Steele where she mentions she really would've liked to played the title role in Pasolini's Medea. We'll never know but I think she would've done a superb job at that as well.

hey now, Diary of a Mad Black Woman is good tv. For white folks who think they understand the black experience lol which is a good summation of Perry's oeuvre, tbh. A friend of mine and my cousin remember him back when he was poor but hardworking, writing scripts on the side. And now he has a multimillion dollar mansion (does anyone need a multimillion dollar mansion? why would anyone want one?) At least he gives back to the community is all i can say, otherwise I'd have a much dimmer view of him. I could live w/o the self-loathing homophobia though.@@montag4516
