Thanks for another great video Chet. It was interesting and enjoyable. Lots of busy work type jobs to do while it is too wet in the fields. Nice work on the office on the second level of the grain shack. You all did great work on all the busy projects. Thanks to all of you. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.

Always nice when you have a guy on the crew who pays attention to cleaning things up. Networking, it's the guy who does the panel cross connects really close, labels and cleans up all the crap that gets ignored when lacing up... string, zipties clips etc... totally different walking into problems when things are clean ...

Put a bead of silicone clear caulk along the joint at the floor and if there would be a water leak, that will help keep the water out of the joint and keep it from soaking into the plywood.

Thanks Chet and crew for the content. That door with the uneven gaps is telling you that door or the building is out of plumb(leaning). I might diagnose that before sealing the gaps. Same with mystery wall cracks that are big on one end and dis-appear on the other. Looking at that hogbarn door from the inside I'd say the top of the wall and/or the door frame moved right.

That’s basic level carpentry, but I realize I’m a carpenter of 50 years. Get a cheap track saw and have fun. Those complicated cuts are usually done with a chalk line and a 7-1/4” circular saw. A corded saw or cordless. As much cutting you need to do, a cordless will be fine. Good luck 🍀
@jeffb321
@jeffb321 22 күн бұрын
I have the cordless 36v makita track saw with a 55 and 120" rail. I attach my cordless makita vac to the saw and it uses Bluetooth to activate the vac so you don't have to manually turn the vac on everytime. It's well over a thousand dollar set up but I'm a trim carpenter so it's necessary.
