Chet, I'm thinking about you and praying about you during this time. You don't know it, but I have sort of shared your road this past year. We had the funeral for my beautiful wife of almost 50 years on May 27, 2021, the day Nicole died. We had been watching your channel for several months and had only in the spring of 2021 discovered Nicole's channel. I had followed her story and was heart broken when I learned she had passed. I have watched you in your videos over the past year, trying to see how you handled such a devastating loss. Taken as a whole you and your family have been inspirational. LIfe goes on. I know how easy that is to say, how very hard, near impossible to do. God bless you and your family. You have to know that Nicole would be so proud of you and would always want only the very best for you, the love of her life.

I am adding this comment on May 27, 2022. I got interested in Larson Farms when information about Nikki was posted about the time she left this earth. It was a sad time indeed. I used to think that an anniversary of someone's passing was a sad time. Then one of my favorite aunts passed away on St. Patrick's Day a few years ago. (I am not Irish. However, I realized what a good way to remember the date for someone's passing.) We believe in celebrating a person's life. Nikki was a person that was taken from this earth far too soon in our eyes. . . . one day we are told that we will understand. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Chet and the rest of the family. May you receive comfort and peace as you think about the past year. We do enjoy your KZbin channel. One other thought crossing my mind is that we have a friend in hospice right now. His wife passed away in March 2022. Jim is doing a Bible Study in hospice on the book of Revelation. He has faith in Christ and Jim knows where he is going. Nikki had a strong faith and I am sure the "why" questions were there many times. Her memorial service was a wonderful tribute to a wonderful person. I am sure she rejoiced as she heard, "Well done, good and faithful servant." 🤔

My sister lost her husband last fall, and she and my niece were hit by a tornado in Gaylord michigan Two day's ago, her home, and many other's were levelled, I'm just glad they are okay, because a couple people didn't make it. I pray you get the crops in, and have a bumper crop. God bless y'all.

You are removing any left trees, huge flat lands so no wonder that all this is ruined with strong winds, in Europe we are switching all that back in last 200 years, more and more forests distributed around important places, this also reduced droughts.

Well Chet keep going your place is anything like ours it's just about the time you start a project like that then the weather will fare up and you can go to work and then maybe over the summer you'll be able to finish. My old uncle that I grew up farming with I always had a saying I'm paraphrasing gently here he always said if you're a farmer and you can say you have all your work caught up and you have nothing to do but prop up your feet there's one of three things going on you're a darn good liar a darn good manager or blind there's always something to do on a farm. Take satisfaction knowing that you're making use of the weather you have to do what you can do I get frustrated that way sometimes around here in Western PA and sometimes you just feel like throwing up your hands and quitting and then all of a sudden the weather turns and the way you go stay safe.

I was hoping you would have put up a video today, but i can understand why not. IT doesn't seem like a year since Nikki left this world for the eternal life with our Father. Much love and prayers for you and the family Chet. I loved the strenth and belief in Christ that Nikki had til the end. I loved her channel as well, because she made great project's. Loss takes time, and going through the time's when it's not to bad, to the time when it just hits so hard. God bless you all, and great job taking over the editing of the channel, Nikki would have wanted you to, plus you do a great job. God bless.

Sending prayers to Chet, the whole Larson Farm family and Nicole’s family. When it comes to clearing trees and brush and piling it to burn I’d choose an excavator over a bulldozer every time. They can get the job done better without pushing up a lot of dirt into the burn pile. Running a root rake over the cleared ground is always a good idea.

Thanks for another great video everyone. It was interesting and enjoyable. Thanks to all of you for filming all of these odd jobs. Rain 🌧 is keeping you out of the fields. So time to do some of these odd jobs. The grove you are taking down looks better knocked down and cleaned up. Dougo is pretty good with that digger knocking down old trees. Might as well use that ground once the roots are grounded up and all that. Sorry about the side dump wagon not working. Am sure you can find a buyer for it. All for now I guess. Good job Eric on your explanations and filming. Thought you did a great job. You all take care and be safe. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks for everything. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.

Check into Oxbo brand dumpcarts. Here in Central IL we use dumpcarts for ear seed corn picking they will go high enough to reach the top of a 13’6” tall open top trailer w room to spare. Also they use two hyd remotes one for the vertical and one for the dump so then the truck never moves. There’s other companies building these carts other than Oxbo also.
