Farmers are some of the best folks in the world. Even through destruction of this magnitude, high spirits abound, work continues, clean up and rebuild begins, because quitters don't win and there's always work to be done. Also, insurance is a godsend in times like these. It seems like wasted money when you don't use it for years or even decades but then things like this come along and you can breathe a sigh of relief that you have no severe financial loss, only some time and effort in clean up.

Thanks for another great video Chet. Sorry it is about storm damage. It is interesting and enjoyable. So sorry about all of your storm damage. Glad that you all are ok and safe. God bless you all. Dougo did a super job of crushing that damaged grain bin. Just like a pop can. Good job Dougo doing clean up. Chet and Eric and Brody you all did a great job of clearing out that old round roof storage building. Kind of touchy getting your equipment out. You all did great. Clean up will take a while. Then other issues come up like fixing a field tile. Good job on that. Planting will come soon and put a hold on clean up. Feel bad about all your damage. Sincerely appreciate the positive attitude you all have about all of this. Know with time you will have it fixed up again. You all hang in there. Appreciate the videos on clean up. You all take care and be safe. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks for everything Larsons. Thinking of you all. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.

Oh Heck. "Financially not affected, emotionally.?...maybe". My heart goes out to you guys. Here we have nothing like this to contend with; just human stupidity. I know you will come back stronger than ever from this, it is in your nature. But seeing how your Mum was so obviously saddened and shocked in the last video from Dougo at the loss of the old church.... I felt a great pang of sadness, but also awe at how you guys just pick up a brush and shovel and say; "**** it, today's a new day and at least we're ok"!! You have my prayers and thoughts but, and I mean this; thank you for bearing with us during these hard times, and showing the true grit that keeps everyone fed. God bless you all.

Jett and dougo you need a 4 in 1 bucket for that backhoe itll make that machine so much more versatile being to grab things...here in Australia pretty much every backhoe and skidsteer have 4in1 buckets on them...not sure what you guys call them I know some call them a clam bucket...all so it's been terrible watching you guys and zach and master pipe layer go through all this...we have huge rains here in Queensland Australia and some pretty nasty flooding and was close to our 2011 floods that took quite a few lives including children...so I feel for you weve had rain nearly ever day since Christmas but only a few weeks back we had water everywhere in southern Queensland and northern new south Wales..keep on truckin and you'll get it all sorted mate

Down here in Central Texas the corn is tasseled out. It won't be long before it starts to dry out and ready for harvest. There are a 3 day window that you can pick the corn for eating or putting it in your freezer. You just have to go into the field each day and pull the shuck down and stick your finger in the kernels. If they are not ready you will get a milky substance on your finger. If you wait too long you will not be able to press the kernel in. A 3 day window.
