It’s a pretty place with good climate. You’re passing so many places I remember from my childhood. It’s just boring there to me now 😂 There isn’t much to do there if you ask me. Thanks for the nostalgia! You passed by where the old Blockbuster and Bowling Alley were.

Las Cruces Sun lanes was the site of the infamous 1990 bowling alley massacre. Never solved the perpetrators probably vanished into Mexico.

Interesting there is always a reason like in Vegas shooting one officer killed who was investigating a child sex ring but of course that is solved either a the police chief moves to Hawaii to become a police chief there and before you know it Maui/Lahiana has the biggest island fire

Picacho Avenue east of downtown is actually Spruce. Was site of convoluted low quality “connection” in late eighties. Very crooked and no center turn lane. Bad design very typical of this region.
