Do people even realize how a prime rib roast is cooked? It's cooked as one block of meat. We used to let them go for six hours low and slow. When the middle was 128F we pulled them out and the center would be rare and the ends would be well done. It continues to cook to about 130F or 135F max and the center would be a beautiful medium rare. It just depends where they slice it on the roast that gives you other options. Towards the end of the night we would "run out" of medium rare prime because that's what most people ordered. You can easily create a medium or medium well by dipping medium rare in hot au jus for a moment. You can't go the other way unfortunately. I personally developed a taste for the end cut where all the seasonings reside. Love the video. Thank you.

Hi Bill hi Lisa! 🙂 Thank you for another great video the prime rib at Tony Roma‘s looked delicious. As much as the both of you like prime rib you should check out Vons or Albertson’s around the holidays. It’s on there just for you app. They always have their choice standing rib roast which is like a prime rib on sale for very cheap. It’s really not that hard to roast one yourself. Tyler Florence has a really good recipe on KZbin for it. I make it every Christmas and my family loves it. Stay safe keep enjoying life. I look forward to your next video. Oh by the way if you do see Tyler Florences recipe he puts way too much salt. I never put as much as he shows. High blood pressure for sure if you follow it. LOL

Greetings from Torrance! Just found your review. The prime rib at the cal is kinda meh, but the cherry jubilee makes up for it. But you are right, the Ox Tail soup is REALLY good. My son also loved the Adobo chicken special that they had. But for us, the won ton saimin on the 2nd floor is a must get every trip. The Cal has the best food around and still reasonable. Thanks guys!

Nice. My 2 go to spots for cheap prime rib are Magnolia, the ambiance is off the chain and El Cortez both of which I have no problems with. I saw Todd Bridges dining at El Cortez and was trying to take a sneak pic of him and he peeped me and got up and waved me over to him to take pics. That made my day! 😎 ✌🏿❤

We always went a place called Lord Charley's, she got her delicious prime rib meal, I always got my sauted fish dinner with my favorite side side of creamed spinach.. I loved it!
