Las Vegas F1 General Admission Viewpoints - Standing Room Only

View from all of the 'Standing Room Only' areas at the Las Vegas Grand Prix track for General Admission ticket holders in the T-Mobile Sphere Zone (not the new for 2024 Flamingo or Caesar's GA zones)
As the vid shows there's three raised standing platforms and one open ground-level area. These all run from the inside of Turn 5 to Turn 7.
Views aren't particularly great to be honest as you don't get a very good view over the fence and you only see the cars for a split second.

Speaking as someone who has visited a F1 race on a German site before, the best possible view to have into F1 is: TV.

You have a much better view of the race in the TV, no doubt, but going to the circuit is not about that! It's about the atmosphere, seeing the cars near you for a brief moment repeated times.

I wonder if it's worth to go to Flamingo GA as apparently most people wont even be able to see the track. Going t a F1 race is not about having better angles than on TV, but you at least have to be able to see the cars passing close and live, to feel the sheer performance and brutality of it. To just stay in a fan zone, makes no sense.

At most permanent tracks you can take your own chairs and use them if there is enough room

I need advice. I've never been to one of these races and I want to surprise my oldest son what Tickets to the Vegas race in November of this year. But I don't know the difference between the areas I see in this video, the "Section Sphere Zone Standing Room Only Zone MSG Sphere Zone SRO" zone for $325 p/ticket and the $150 GA by Flamingo. I want to try to get cheap tickets, can't spend that much. But I want him to be able to see part of the race, not just "hear" it 😂

The GA bly Flamingo is a new zone for 2024. It wasn't there last year. The GA areas in this video are the Sphere Standing Room Only Zone MSG Sphere you mention

@@oversteer48 I was at the grandstands on the backside of the Paddock thursday night. I waited till 1:30am then left . Then found out a little later that everyone was told to leave anyway. Had a great time up until Carlo Sianz hit the water valve cover. I knew exactly what happen when I say the video.

I was at paddock grandstands Thursday. I was impressed with the food . I expected lines to get it. That I would just be buy over priced food to avoid the line. It was nothing like that.plenty of choices of food . I ate a few short rib sandwiches. Had one chicken and waffles, the a couple apple cider donuts .and cheese and tator tots..I didn't see any food for sale. Mixed drinks were sold.Water Was Free :).

Do the standing areas cost $150? do they normally get packed? I see them kind of empty. Where do I get online tickets for those GA areas?

The Sphere zone is the most expensive standing area. It does get busy during the race but you can normally fine a spot on the raised bleacher steps if you get there early enough. The other GA Zones (Flamingo / Caesar's) are new for this year, are cheaper, but I don't think they'll have good views

If you want cheaper individual day tickets, you're best bet will be on StubHub: stubhub.prf.hn/l/p3GAwmJ That's where I bought mine last year for just 1 day.

Which would you recommend Section Flamingo zone 2 tickets $244 Clear view Section FLAMINGO ZONE GA 2 tickets Standing room only (SRO) $305 Section MSG Sphere Zone 2 tickets, seated together $311 Section Sphere Zone Standing Room Only $319

I'm not surprised at all. They charged insane prices and then look how they treated the fans last night. The saw 8 minutes of cars on track, waiting around for hours and then got forced out by police at 1:30 in the morning

Save money. Park along a highway and watch regular cars race by instead. I'd rather go dancing than watch cars race by. It's so dumb.

Vegas has just become too expensive…. It is cheaper to FLY to Munchen oder Innsbruck…then drive to Redbull Ring for,3 day….than goto Vegas ever again
