Having been born and raised in Vegas (starting in 1964), I can honestly say that THIS Las Vegas is gone forever. It is now nowhere near what it was, or what it was intedned to be. Any native Las Vegan will tell you that life here was MUCH BETTER when the..."fellas".....were still here and running things.

Thanks for posting this video. It must have been a trip to live and work there back in the day. Porterhouse dinner 5 bucks! Many of the people in this video probably aren't with us anymore either. Thanks again Don-O.

Remember that porterhouse steak for $5.00 is like $15.00+ with inflation, in 2022...Some sleeping rooms can be a bit less expensive today then in 1982, when inflation is figured in....

Vegas back then was great. I saw Seigfred & Roy back in 81.

I'd be curious to know how one could have gained access to Bert Convy. I've read that he was usually kept in a titanium capsule that was whisked around a network of hydraulic tubes, which connected Burbank to Rip Taylor's medicine cabinet, with additional spur connections to places like Fargo, North Dakota and a Pontiac dealership in Winnipeg. I wonder if the people who made this video understand just how fortunate they were.
