Living in Vegas I was VERY HONORED to be a tour guide for his beautiful mansion 🏠! He had soooo many gorgeous items that meant so much to him and reflected his travels and life as well as his many pianos, mirrors and his gorgeous bathtub- I loved being in there- you could feel his strong presence the moment you stepped inside- and what a warm soul he had. I want to mention he was an incredibly talented musician as well as a smart businessman all wrapped up in the package of a sparkling ✨ entertainer doused with perfect comedian accents. His private life was his own and the world loved him through and through- what a life he led. We will always cherish the memories of you, Liberace. ❤

He was never offensive, never attacked people. He would use self-deprecating humor. That smile! Where did it come from? Always pleasant and cheerful. I can see the cracks too. He tried his best. Though private, I wish he would have testified verbally of his faith in Our Lord and only Savior, Jesus Christ. Some might say he lived his faith by how he treated others. But, the Holy Bible says we are to verbally express our faith and testify. That is why the bishop slaps our cheek during Confirmation. We will face opposition and struggle for our faith. If not for believers before us, how would we have come to know the truth?

All he did to his home he loved in Hollywood and its rotting away . I did hear someone bought it . The great holidays he celebrated in his home were a big thing to Liberace. He passed there and I believe his spirit is there . I am going to Google I'm sure sure there's information about his home. All he loved most in his business was his fans of course his collection. I wish his foundation would think of doing museums tours starting with the Museum of Science in Boston. There are thousands that would go to view . I honestly believe the reason his museum lost people visits was because you had to fly out or see it while vacationing. If they can tour King Tut they certainly could tour Liberace. Miss you so Mr. Showmenship. Bless you God Bless you wherever your soul may be ...❤

I had his piano arrangements for the Twelfth Street Rag and Beer Barrell Polka and just could not believe that ANYONE could play those arrangements THAT FAST WITH ACCURACY! I always thought the recordings were SPEEDED UP until I saw him in person in St. Petersburg, Florida. I was STUNNED to see him play them EXACTLY AS THE RECORDINGS SOUNDED! He had a GIFT from God!

I always thought that Elvis was in the closet. He had the same hairstyle as well as Liberace's clothing style later in life. He started out performing in pink suits and make-up. Priscilla said that even though she begged Elvis for sex he made her wait six years until he married her when she turned 21 years old. After Lisa-Marie was born his wife said that he didn't want anything else to do with her. Rumor also had it that he had black female back-up singers because they didn't try to seduce him.

The vulgarity of the glitz and Vegas , even then was and remains , a sad indictment and example , of the how far fallen is America and the rest of the world in intellect and intelligence . The man himself , behind his “Liberace” image was a good , kind, loving and generous man of enormous talent whom became swept up and way by the need for the former. A huge waste , his lifestyle just being one of excess which he created and succumbed to , to satiate the greed of that mentality and to convince himself of , at the same time. May he RIP.

When I was younger in the 70’s and 80’s, I just knew Liberace was famous for being a piano player, but I didn’t know how he got all his fame. He also was a very private man and maybe bc of hiding that he was gay. Why it was great to hear Liberace’s life through his friend Steve Garey in the other yt video. As almost speaking for Liberace in death. Liberace was a pioneer and set the standards for many others. RIP Mr. Liberace.

It's amazing to me, as someone who wasn't around in that era, that someone could've ever gotten that rich and famous by being a classical musician. You sure as hell couldn't do that today. I'm trying to imagine some hypothetical scenario where a kid growing up today who is serious violinist, or something, could grow up to have a career like that. Maybe if they got into movies or something, it could be doable, but I could never imagine that person making the violin, or whatever instrument they play, such an integral part of their identity, like Liberace did with the piano, and play so many concerts like he did. They'd have to be more famous for whatever else it is that they do. Maybe other people don't agree with me, but I always liked how Liberace sold the idea that playing the piano is cool and glamourous, and something you should be able to get rich from doing.

I remember Liberace from the early days too, on the Liberace Show in black and white. That man could sure play piano. But the thing I liked about Liberace was that he was not only a superb show man but a lovely person too. Look here how the celebrity out shopping takes time with the ordinary people to shake hands and say hello. There was no snobbery or ego. Yes, he wore outlandish clothes, but so what, he was a show man, he was Liberace. Liberace was just a good person, and an excellent pianist. That's what I liked about him. He was gifted but down to earth, and communicated with his audience. I hope that today he is entertaining the Angels upstairs. Wonderful show man. Missed.

Pity with all that success he never found a loving partner, in the way Elton John & David, or Ricky Martin... easier today with acceptance and understanding. It is now a sign of talented flamboyance... He definitely 'Out Camped' Elton. Talented man, maybe rather tortured privately. Buy more stuff to make up.... Successfully sued a newspaper for insinuations about being 'that way' and then died of AIDS...

The houses were sold. Ted Turner’s brother bought one of them and was lucky enough to find all of Liberace’s jewellery hidden in a secret compartment beneath a drawer and got to keep it. That particular house later got sold for $500,000 after it owed debts and was in a run down condition after squatters used it to live in. A man from England then bought the house and fixed it up and spent 2.5 million dollars to restore it, and that house is now a museum of Liberace’s life. All Liberace’s cars and clothing are at a different museum. Sone of Liberace’s pianos and furniture were bought by the Englishman who restored one of Liberace’s mansions and placed there. Most of his former lovers are dead after Liberace infected at least three of them with the AIDS virus, except Scott Thorson who is currently in prison and will be released on 8 September 2022.

@@January. I don’t know what jewellery that Liberace owned, but he would give valuable pieces of jewellery to his close friends like his lover Scott Thorson. The jewellery that Ted Turner’s brother found, I don’t know what specific pieces there were, but legally they formed part of the fixtures of the house because the house was sold that way and nobody ever looked in the hidden compartment beneath the drawer to know they were there. Ted Turner’s brother filled Liberace’s swimming pool with concrete, so the pool no longer exists.

I live in West Allis, Wisconsin where he was born - I also live a half mile away from Jeffrey Dahmer's Grandmother's house where he killed 3 people. Interesting area full of taverns, bars, liquor stores and gun stores. I call myself Liberace Dahmer.
