I learned nothing from this lol. And please if Hondo says he’s doing another “deep dive: story I think my head will burst. Hondo deep dive stories haven’t really been that. Lots of times other guys break these stories on ESPN and FOX so by time Hondo tells it, it will be old news. He needs to stop teasing stories and just report. The team was competing and the players didnt quit. This is a reset and it might workout but those two men was done wrong and thats Not the Raider way. Everything looks fine. Not sure Spytek is into “sharing” all his power with Pete. But Pete sure talks like a guy who wants the final word… hope that works out. The Brady factor seems very real… can it overcome the stench of bad luck that is Mark Davis? Doubtful. I would think MD’s full removal still needs to happen if a championship team is ever to emerge. I hope I’m wrong.

Pete had the final word contractually in Seattle but rarely went against Schneider - why would he? Mark Davis is, in my opinion finally out of the picture as far as football decision making goes. Count your money, blow it on hot young women and watch the team get better with people who know what they’re doing.

I am not a fan of this reporting today. The last two coaches (JMD and AP) said the Raiders were going to compete. They were going to fight for their positions. They wanted passionate football guys. And it sounds like you (Hondo) is reporting Carroll and Spytek as doing something novel and exciting. Like, now we're really going to bring guys in to compete. What makes this time different? Tom Brady started this chgaos, and I am not talking about the tuck rule. Tom Brady was considering coming to the Raiders, which is why they dumped Carr, for better or worse. The QB situation got JMD fired. It got AP fired (plus the lack of disciplne). Bottom line, I'll believe it when Carroll/Spytek finish their 4th year and have two playoff appearances.
