I think the Raiders should forget about trying to draft a QB this year and worry about the needs of the team like offensive lineman, running backs, a true number one wide receiver, outside linebackers that can actually tackle !! I truly believe that if you can give AOC a good offensive line and the ability to run the ball that I think he would be a good enough quarterback for next year He throws the ball well He makes good decisions for the most part He just needs to be protected. He is one of those type of quarterbacks that needs a good offensive line The reason I say, this is because the Raiders have a chance this year in the draft and free agency to really nail down The weak spots on the team

@ maybe I personally think that Sanders is overhyped Plays in a very crappy division, so he was able to stack up stats ! Cam Ward plays too dangerous in my opinion Reminds me of the same way Jamies Winston played out of college Even still though !! Drafting a quarterback is a gamble And even if you do get a good quarterback, it’s really not gonna be much if the rest of the team Has holes in it I think next year will have a much better draft class as far as quarterback I just do not see it this year !!!

@ the one thing that you were missing is that Pete Carroll had conflict with Russell Wilson from the very beginning because he did not like the style of play from Wilson Pete Carroll wanted a more traditional drop back, read the defense and throw a type of quarterback, where as Russell Wilson was the type of quarterback that had the ability to escape the pocket and extend plays and Pete Carroll said he drove him nuts Either way you look at it all I can say is that if Tom Brady wants to remain the best quarterback that the NFL has ever produced then he better get the Raiders on track and get them to stop Patrick Mahomes from the chiefs from achieving that goal !!! Quarterback, quarterback, quarterback! Our problem isn't with the quarterback, per se, but rather with offensive coaches!!! Both of our QBs last year got "Getsy'd!" The other issues were from Mr. Telesco. Yes he did well in the draft, but he let two key pieced of our offense walk in free agency, namely Josh Jacobs and Jermaine Eluemunor. That proved to be a critical mistake. We had the cap space to afford them. It gutted our offense. Suddenly our offensive line SUCKED, we had no rushing attack, which made our opposing defenses jobs extremely difficult. A good ground game only opens up the passing game. Telesco gave that dimension of our offense away!!! AOC has proven he can be mobile when coached to do so, no quarterback can be productive without an offensive line!!! I am not opposed to getting a new quarterback, but keep in mind Pete didn't say they needed a new QB. He said they needed to "BUILD AROUND the quarterback."

It kinda sounds like Pete Carroll and John Spytek will trade for Aaron Rodgers or sign him when the Jets cut him and draft and develop Dillon Gabriel to be his successor. It looks like they're looking to do a combination of what Tampa did 5 years ago when they signed Tom Brady on a 2 year deal and The Packers drafting Jordan Love the same year and having him sit behind Rodgers until his short term contract ends.

Problem with AOC is he is ridiculously unathletic. Its as if he wears 2 left shoes that are in cement. He has two speeds. Really slow and paint drying slow. Seems smart, team player and doesnt whine, but lack of any mobility says no.
