I remember this when it happened. If this had been a group of white kids who jumped a minority the media would have talked allot more about it at the time. You know they would have. Regardless if the white boy threw the first punch or not, whomever his anger was directed towards should have handled that fight one on one, not multiple people on one. My brother made many trips to Las Vegas before sports betting was legal in our state. On his last trip out there several years ago he was robbed and beaten and basically left for dead! All he remembered several days later was that he asked them to take what they wanted but leave his wallet and ID!! They took his wallet and ID and he was found by passerbys and ended up a john doe patient because he didn't know his name for several days!! Never caught who mugged and almost killed him! He is fine now and doesn't gamble any more!!

There are so many elements that lead to juvenile activity like this. And I think the main one is that kids are being raised today not to take any responsibility for their actions. A lot of times the homelife for these punks is non-existent. They're being raised not knowing what it's like for a dad to leave for work in the morning and come home after a hard day of working. I was born and raised in Las Vegas. 1980. The town has gone down drastically with the high cost of living, the crime, the overcrowded roads and schools. I dedicated 20 years of my life to teaching in the CCSD. We had enough after my car was totaled and my life almost taken from me at the hands of a drunk driver. It used to be a great place to live and work. It’s nothing like it ever used to be sadly.
