I'm catching up on your vlogs. Palms has a nice buffet. We go often to Vegas, Mother Wolf is on our list to try. We will be @ Palms in early December for Keno Nation toy fund raiser. The BBQ place is good, a must try. Except they do not allow outside beverages 😮

Great vlog 👌 We’ve figured out the pirate game mystery amount…we think! 🤯 The difference between $30.35 (that it seems it should be) and $28.75 is $1.60… which is the initial win amount before the bonus spins.. so perhaps this was already added to your cash amount at the start of filming!?

Thanks for watching, we did the same calculation during editing the video and assumed this may be the reason. Normally the initial win would show separately and the bonus adds to it. We scrolled back through earlier footage and still wasn’t clear so we assumed this was what happened.

Just catching up on KZbin and was excited to see the new vlog. Great job, as always! And who would have ever guessed that Emily had such a potty mouth? 😂 She seriously cracks me up. What a disappointment about dinner. If it only tasted as good as it looked. The room at FB looks nice. Our trip a couple of weeks ago, we decided against going all of the way up there for the status match. While it looks nice, I just don't see it being a casino that we would visit. I really enjoyed this, man! You have a real knack for vlogging.

Haha it’s all part of being northern, the potty mouth comes with the territory, especially after a few drinks 😂. Rooms are great at FB, food hit and miss we found and casino just lacks atmosphere. I hope it will improve over time but people been saying the same about Resorts World for a couple years now so 🤷🏼‍♂️. Thanks for watching and the kind words!

Talking of Pat Butcher…..😂😂 here’s a challenge/recommendation for you if you fancy it on your next trip🤠😎😎 We thought The Angry Butcher in Sam’s Town was a decent steak House and if you time it right for the atrium show it’s a great venue out on the terrace at 7/7:30pm. Would be interested to see what you make of it We highly recommend it😎 I’m glad you took the time to go in Circus Circus….🤡…it’s definitely iconic….just not for staying at 😂😎🤠

Thanks for the tip didn’t even know about that place but we love a good steakhouse. We loved Sam’s town when we went in 2023. Our next trip is already packed full because of all the hotels and F&B comps, planning where we’re going is like planning a military coup 😂 but 100% will try and check out the angry butcher soon.

Right I am HUNTING DOWN the Pat Butcher machine next month 😂 We didn’t have time to see north strip (despite being there for 3 weeks 😅) so next time you’ve convinced me to at least check out Fontainebleau - wasn’t sure of the hype at first but it looks lovely. Shame about the drinks service tho. I think our best service was in Park MGM and Luxor this trip.

Also you didn’t mis calculate that pirate bonus, and we rewound it to see if they had awarded you the smaller wins before adding the orb bonus - nope. What was all that about?

Yes rooms at FB are great. The casino hopefully will get busier over time. Definitely worth checking it out. You know we watched that clip back on the pirate bonus 3 times when I was editing and couldn’t work out what happened. I jokingly said to Emily have we uncovered a glitch or some own skimming the machines 😂

@@roamingnewroutes honestly the only thing we could think of was taxing the bonus pre ticket - but surely they wouldn’t do that? Think they can take advantage of tipsy gamblers - we don’t miss a trick 🧐 We will have to keep an eye on this one. 😂

Nice video you too. I appreciate the craft beer reviews along the way but recently realized something. One beer is too many and ten isn’t enough sometimes. Not drinking anymore for the most part.

Love testing new beers out. We don’t drink much in Dubai and the craft beer selection isn’t great so always nice to try a load of new ones everytime we visit

When I was out there this past March. Went to FB walked and thought beautiful place. Then I went around a Lillie bit , found a bathroom and left. The Casino has no life at all! I was there around 5 pm. It really needs more color to make it pop! I’ll never stay there. Even though the rooms look really nice. Enjoy the rest of your Trip!!

Yes rooms are fab but it does lack an atmosphere, it’s very clinical and doesn’t feel Vegassy to me

We ate at Mother Wolf also. The meatballs were just not good, and the rest of the meal was very salty. It was okay, but I would not go back. Service was good though.

Yes we’ve heard a few people have had the same issue with the salt levels, even at other places. They must be using some super salt 😂

We tried Mother Wolf on our last trip just gone by and it was really disappointing. Wasn’t salty just wasn’t very good. Couldn’t agree more on the casino and lacking atmosphere, it’s busy during the day but then late night it’s very quiet.

I think I mention but we were so disappointed with Mother Wolf. The pasta carbonara was so salty for us as well. We did complain and our meal was comped.

Yes was really disappointing. They seem to get quite a few complaints about the salt, had a few people say the same to me.

The rooms and resort are so good. No we very nearly booked Papi Steak but cause we ate at Hells Kitchen the day before and had 2 meat dishes we went Italian. I’ve only heard good things about Papi’s though

What was up with that $16 +$14 bonus at Fontainebleau? It clearly said you had $16.05 and the bonus was $14.30. You should've had $30.35 after your bonus. I know it's not a big difference but that's really suspicious.

I thought we’d uncovered a skimming operation at first 😂 we went back over the footage multiple times when editing and took us ages to figure it out. We concluded it did actually give us the full amount it just awarded the scatter/ line hit of $1.60 before the bonus started so it wasn’t very clear and looked like we’d been short changed
