Hi Sarah! Been following you a while and appreciate you sharing your journey with this experience! Although I do not have any words of wisdom or advice for other treatment, I just wanted to give you some love for making this video and being so real! I honestly could never tell you had anything to worry about as far as skin insecurities, you are so pretty! I have 2 darkish spots that have developed over the past couple years (I’m 32) but I haven’t started looking into treatment or anything for them-just yet. But thank you for sharing this and I wish you all the best! 💛Fun side note- I wore my silver hammer hoops from your line yesterday! 😄

Thank you so much for sharing! I want to get something like this done but don’t know where to start. And I agree with you on the “no downtime” being a lie because most of us going in for these types of treatments feel more comfortable wearing makeup whether it’s to go in to work, be on camera for zoom calls, going to the grocery store(!) etc. I’m at the end of the video now, that’s INTERESTING her Before photos look so different than yours. Please keep us posted on what you find to be effective or not effective treatments.

I had laseMD this past Monday (8-29-23). My dark spots were darker after the treatment but when the skin peeled off (day 4) some of the darkness came off. Day five now and still my skin is flaking off. I have committed and prepaid for three treatments. Now that I know….I am questioning the next two treatments.

I actually did a combo of dermv laser and the lasemd on the same day. I noticed a huge difference in just a few days. I think the key is multiple treatments.

So interested in this topic. I went to the med spa and had a consultation. I started with some creams to get rid of my hyperpigmentation. It has been about 90 days and have noticed no difference. I have been wondering about ipl or bbl. It makes me nervous to spend all the money and see little to no results. Keep updating!!!!

LaseMD is the equivalent of clear & brilliant - a gentle laser that you need a series of and best candidates are people with fairly good skin and want maintenance and/or minor corrections. I think you would do better with a stronger laser to deal with the pigmentation such as Fraxel or Halo. Or you need more gentle lasers/chemical peels. C&B usually recommends 4-6 treatments.

That’s not how they promote it. The doctors make it sound like it’s a fixer for everything. Happy this video shows realistic results

I had my first IPL session a few weeks ago. I don't see too much of a difference in my rosacea yet but the texture/pores on my face look better. My beauty mark is lighter though so I do think it is working. The pain isn't too bad. They can control the intensity. The first row was really uncomfortable but after you know what to expect it isn't too bad.

This is why prefer doing chemical peel over laser. It’s so much cheaper and effective but peeling can be a pain in the butt.

This video is a year old and you’ve probably figured this out already, but laser skin procedures are going to require more than just 1 session. The first one is always going to be a little more conservative but even if it wasn’t, you’re still looking at at least 3-6 sessions. I’d assume you’d probably need no more than 3. The other thing is that melasma spots are chronic and you’ll always have to treat them in some way, it’s never going to fully go away. You may have flare up’s where you’ll need to treat them. That lutronic laser you used in here is much gentler on the skin too, so this is a safer bet.

I found this video because I just got a consult for LaseMD. (Thanks, super helpful!). The office told me that I'd need 4-8 sessions to get rid of my hyperpigmentation, which is maybe a little bit less than yours in this video. So my guess is they didn't give you a very realistic expectation for 1 session? That said, I haven't had it yet. I did do IPL a long time ago, and it did nothing for me. I've since been told it's more for sun spots than post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, which is why it didn't work for me. In my consult they also recommended ProFraxel, which gives faster results but it looks like it hurts a lot more, with more downtime.

Thanks a lot for this genuine review it makes such a great difference with people who are sponsored and keep saying everything is great. I will subscribe to your channel just because of that, at least I know you give truthful feedback and like us you spent your own money, thanks a lot and all the best on your skin journey. My skin marks exactly like yours. The only cream I find that works is SKINOREN. It was prescribed to me by a dermatologist in France who retired and she told me it is an old cream but the only one that gets rid of marks properly

Your results really do look like the spots lightened up. I think you’d need another treatment or another laser that targets pigmentation.

Did you ever find anything that helped your dark spots. I dont think I've seen someone that has spots on the sides of her face like mine before. I did a Fraxel laser years ago and it made the biggest difference but about 2 years ago i got the Musely spot cream and it faded them a ton. They are still there, mind you.

You’re expecting too much too soon. You need 3-6 treatments for most lasers and chemical peels to work. Unless you’re going for something with significant downtime this is how it works. This should’ve been explained to you….

Hi Sarah, just wanted to say you are so beautiful! I'm sorry you went through so many things and spent that money on things that didn't help much. Was wondering if you ever heard of the medical medium Anthony Williams? People have good results with doing his liver cleanse and sometimes the liver is the reason for dark spots and when you clean it they fade. Everything is through eating healthy foods and juicing as well as adding supplements. It's natural and safe for nursing mothers. He's helped me a lot with things drs couldn't.

Have you tried taking tranexamic acid? It works wonders for me and also the first time I got the laser I moisturizer it’s too much and I was told the pigment healed with my new skin so in my second round I let my skin be more dried and flaky . My third laser was cool peel and that worked even better both lasers were 2 years apart.

My mom recently did a tranexamic acid peel on a couple sun spots, and they’re almost entirely gone. Very impressive, but for her, she wouldn’t do it again because she said it was extremely extremely painful… not sure if that’s normal for that peel or not? I’m having LaseMD for a couple spots myself today, so it’ll be interesting to compare results with her. Definitely going to look into cool peel if it doesn’t work, so thank you for the suggestion!

@@ariaciano6910 the tranexamic acid I use it but as an oral pill 💊 not a peel. Look into it, it helps me tons and I live in a very hot and sunny place.

Your skin will take continuous care. I’m sorry they overpromised results. This obviously would take a series of treatments and without regular treatments, those spots will return. CO2 would give the dramatic results you are looking for, but it essentially takes off the top layer of skin and has extensive recovery. You needed a series of treatments with products. Please find someone who works with you for a treatment program.

I feel any skin treatment is like going down a rabbit hole. Sorry, you didn't get the results you thought you might get. I know that for any of those treatments they want you to sign up for more than one and usually 3 ish. I had micro-needling (dermatologist suggest that rather than the laser) done and after three treatments I didn't think the results were great and I wish I did the laser. I recently had "age" brown spots removed from my hands (again they wanted me to sign up for 3 treatments @$300) the laser did remove most of the spots and when I went back for a general/yearly skin check I mentioned my hand and she took out the liquid nitrogen and used it on the spots were left and that really worked and she never charged me for the extra "hits". Get another consultation and see what they say. I do think your results might be a bit better with IPL but again more $$$.

Glycolic acid can be purchased for WAYYY cheaper just about anywhere, and azaelic acid can be purchased quite a bit cheaper too, especially if you order through an Australian pharmacy that ships to the US. Curology is great for prescription tretinoin though!
