They seem to be on the more serious training side of things. Originally it’s a firearms training system.

Cool system, but the only draw back might be when you switch back to BBs (Airsoft). A BB has a mind of its own compared to a laser beam hitting a target. Cool stuff though!

These are seriously cool! I was actually figuring out my indoor setup today so when i saw these... very excited!!! Unfortunately, I'm definitely priced out of these ones. It's a shame because they look fantastic.

Hey, thanks for the video. One question, your airsoft gun needs to be full of gas to activate laser, right? No way of just silent click with no gas? I am looking for indoor target practice where there is no loud shot necessary.

You can do it with a double action hammer fired replica. That enough of an impulse to set the laser off. It can also react to a single action or striker fired replica like a Glock but then you only get one shot.

Looks like your TM MK18 is an AER with recoil - never seen that before. Do you know if that Flash kit would work with a standard AER such as a Krytac Rec7? I ordered the rifle and Flash kit without even thinking it needed blowback / recoil. They wont be here until end of next week so I guess Ill find out soon enough. Guess I could always return it if not. Thanks!

They can be activated by the air coming out of the barrel on an AEG. It’s not as reliable as on a recoil Airsoft gun. I would check with the manufacturers of the laser ammo device and see what they think.

A lot of clone RMR sights come with a Glock mount. Just have a look at products.

Interesting product. Question: if these RIFs are being used with no BBs loaded, are you having to hold the pistol slide release down and the NGRS bolt release down when shooting with this system to have it cycle? And if so, will that cause a build-up of 'bad habits' (unusual hand/finger positioning etc).

The replacement barrel for the G17 does that for you. With the NGRS you can run no mag for multiple shots or use unloaded mags for transition or reload drills. You could also remove or tape down followers if needed. I wouldn’t physically do it myself as you’ll end up with learning really bad drills and as you say ‘bad habits’

@@AnvilAirsoftTV Thanks for your reply. Did a bit more digging: Recoil Enabled AirSoft Laser (R.E.A.L) Conversion Kit for Umarex G17 - €335 ... ouch. I see it's for the Umarex Glock gen4. Any issues fitting it into your TM Glock gen3?

artkilla initially the slide stuck back when the mag was full of gas. It’s loosened itself off now and runs fine. Looks like it needed a bit of breaking in. Yeah it’s relatively expensive but it is nicely made and is intended for a ‘professional’ environment where your life or competition relies on training.

Question: since the laser is activated by vibration, does it get activated by other causes than pulling the trigger? Like reloading, shaking the gun or racking the slide? This could cause some buggy behavior especially when using this system in cinematic setups like virtual ranges

It does. But you have to try really hard. It needs quite a large impulse

Anyone know how to bypass the "last round hold open" on a Umarex Glock 17 CO2 Airsoft magazine so I can use this on my G17 airsoft pistol.

The blue replacement barrel shown in this video in my TM Glock has a tab that holds down the follower. You can also take the follower out of a mag to have the same effect.

I’ve never heard of an issue. If you do a lot maybe make sure the space is ventilated.
