Laser Engraved Wall Art - Design & Making

Pretty sweet! How did you make sure that the boards were perfectly aligned when you cut the image so the image connected properly when putting the boards next to one another?

Prior to making the design I measured the wood and created a artboard in illustrator that matched the dimensions. The laser I'm using has a "frame" tool which shows where the laser engravers so as long as I measured and cut the wood correctly, all I had to do is line the wood up with the laser. Hope that makes sense, if not I'm happy to make video showing how this works 😊
