Much like commercial piloting, it’s not exactly a role someone fills just to make money, there’s desire and passion behind it. If this industry sees the proposed privatization become a reality, then these folks will likely have some real issues arise around pay, benefits, and especially pension when there’s already been concerns regarding shortages.

They are talking about astronomic lasers used for pointing out things in the night skies. They're commonly purchased on the internet by anyone. The lasers were popularized by Dr Steven Greer who used a green, astronomic laser in his night-time videos/films. He claimed to be viewing UAPS via an infrared camera & signaling/communicating with non-human life forms within UAPS with this type of laser. PS: It is illegal to point astronomic lasers at airplanes because they can cause injury to a pilot's eyes.

I live in Pennsylvania. Before I even heard any drone news I was looking at the sky from my bedroom window. Two of what I thought were stars looked strange. They were going up near each other then back apart and back together again. Only the second time of my life saw something weird running around in the sky in my life. Like I said I didn't know anything about the drone stuff. I was watching them for about an hour. It was so strange. It was so out of place. I wouldn't normally sit for an hour watching anything in the sky like that. Then the next morning drones are all over the news. Doubt its a coincidence.

2013 My Wife and I were walking around lake Elizabeth Fremont CA. Seen Orb pause about 50 feet in air for about 20 seconds then slowly landed behind this fence by this building. While working in construction the site engineer and myself were told to call into the main office and were given a new site laser level. We got to the engineers house and were itching to try it out and make sense of the paperwork. We managed to to check his driveway and fence for level when heavy rain came back in. The engineer grabbed the laser and I grabbed the instruction book etc. We rushed for the garage and dumped the stuff on the bench, then headed in doors for a beer. An hour later the police arrived, the laser was hitting the control tower and other neighbors had called in so mapping the calls they drove straight to the house. We showed them the laser and explained what had happened, after giving us a warning the left. That laser went no where after that if it was not in it's case. It was a wonderful tool at work laying pipelines and road kerb lines. On a larger job we used spinning laser and sights on the earthmoving equipment to grade areas to levels.

I love in southern Vermont. Last year late September I was seeing stars at least what I thought was stars dancing in the sky. They moved up and left to right in no particular pattern. This went on for weeks then one night they just were nowhere to be seen. One really weird thing happened and I wasn't the only one to see this. I was on my deck having a smoke and to the left of me there's a barn with an opening about 8ft side and 7 ft high. You can see to the other side of the barn which is about 35 ft in the morning sunlight but it's pretty dark in there during the day when the sun isn't shining onto that side of the building. Anyways, it was about 9:30 pm. and I saw this glowing white light. It looked like a single LED Christmas light about 15 ft into the barn on the ground which is a dirt surface. I was thinking it may have been a lightning bug or maybe the moonlight casting through a crack of one of the walls of the barn. I saw it again the next night in the same spot but it was overcast with no moon. I went back out a couple hrs later and it was gone. The following morning I went into the barn with a flashlight and checked dirt floor of the barn where I had seen the light, it wasn't glowing at the moment but didn't find anything. I also looked around the barn for possible light sources or cracks that would allow light to shine through but nothing. At about 2 that same afternoon the light was shining again. My neighbors a young married couple John and Laurie got home from work at 3:45 pm and just as they pulled up I checked to see if the light was still there which it was. I rushed outside and asked them before they even got a few steps towards their front door if they could check it out. They came through my house onto the back deck and they were like " Okay. What is it? " I grabbed my flashlight and I asked them to come to the barn with me. As we walked into the barn we were all seeing the light until I shined my light on it. John was kind of skeptical but curious and Laurie was like wtf. We stood around the light trying to cast a shadow on it to see where the light was coming from. John grabbed an empty 5 gallon bucket and covered it and raised it on its edge and the light was still glowing. I shined my light on it but there was nothing on the ground where the light was coming from and again it wasn't casting any light when I had my light on it. Laurie brushed the dirt where the light was but it continued glowing. She held her foot a couple inches over the light when we realized that the light didn't illuminate more than the size of a quarter Later when it got dark we showed our other friend that lived in our building when he got home. This was something truly baffling and of course we all speculated about what it could be. We didn't report this to any authorities because we knew our lives would be disrupted. We took pictures and made videos of it . Video made more sense of course. It remained glowing sporadically for about another two weeks and one day it was gone. I haven't seen it since.

It's not illegal to listen to air traffic. This isn't the UK. I listened to the last two flights as I was waiting at the airport to pick up family.

The problem is that it's not like it just suddenly got this busy. And whole stats of people aren't bout to all suddenly notice the airtraffic that they have constantly lived with till now. For example I live in a town that is dirrectly under a very heavy rout in, and out of ATL Airport. I have always noticed the extreme amount of planes in the sky cause of that, and I don't really pay in particular to the sky.
