Well done. A few jobs I did took me some time just to set the laser. I have a camera with zoom lens and only basic adjustment equipment. So this is similar to using a telescope or when you are on zoom just taking a photo you need to not touch the button as it moves the camera quite a lot so taking photos of the moon it's better with a time delay.

Thank you for showing this device and for your quick & clear explanation. I'd love one that also did fine vertical adjustment with a similar turn knob. Lacking that, combining this with another compact device that just does vertical fine adjustment would be helpful. My tipods' vertical adjustment works, but isn't compact. Putting my dream gizmo on a tall ladder's shelf would often be handy.

Question - does the spin/rotate knob slip a lot? I bought a Huepar fine tuning bracket that gives you spin, left/right, back forth, and up/down motion just like this adapter but one really annoying problem is it is very cheaply made. I bought the Bosch GLL3-330CG and it weighs 2.3 lbs I think. The spin knob does not rotate consistently. The threading slips a lot and so it doesnt rotate smoothly. Does this adapter have good threading or is it pretty much just like Huepar's? Also can you provide a link to where I can purchase this?
