About a 20 minute install, the video was very helpful. I couldn’t get it from just the booklet. Laser is bright and the switch / slide release seems very sturdy. Haven’t shot it yet. Seems well made.

How do you adjust the laser??? If its non-adjustable then where dose the laser converge for accuracy, 3 yards, 6 yards...???

It's factory zeroed and parallel to the barrel. The whole point of it is that it's so close to the barrel that you have the benefits of both parallel and convergent zero in one. No need to make any adjustments or account for different range. I haven't used this so I don't know how accurate it is, but in theory it's the best of both worlds.

Bought a Lasermax guide rod system for my Glock 17. The laser functions with the slide off, if you move the rod around. Put the slide on and it won't work. Followed instructions and video exactly. Called Glock and waiting for a return call. Been a couple of hours, still waiting.

The Glock GAN4 comes with a dual and upgraded spring on the Guide Rod. The laser has only one spring. Does that bring me back to "Glock GAN3"?

Picture in user manual clearly shows painted tabs facing toward end of barrel...seems counter intuitive... Inconsistent activation....disappointed Really wanted this to work...waste of $300... What exactly is difference in slide removal retaining spring and bar?

My packaging says it's for a G17/22/31/37 Gen 1-3 (model LMS-1141G) but I think y'all sent me a G19 guide rod/spring/laser model. It's too short and doesn't reach the lug!

My Glock doesn't appear to have that 'lever' type spring. I see a coil spring in there, do you have instructions for removing that?

Kevin, I just ran into the same issue. You can follow the same set of instructions. Compress the slide release just enough for you to move it to either side of the slide and it will fall out. You can use the small rod tool to push it out also. Then turn the lower half upside down and the coil spring will fall out. Then you can continue as described in the video and instructions. Hope this helps.

Having live ammo on one's workspace isn't a problem unless the person doing the work is an absolute tw@ (rhymes with 'cat' NOT 'rot', it's an A not an O) that cannot control their own impulse to push a round into the chamber and fire it directly into their feet. Gun safety is paramount but being in a different room to the ammo is only important if you are a complete mong. Just because you've seen other people say it, doesn't mean you have to repeat them. There's not a drop of shepherd in you.
