Just installed my D2S Led lights on my 09 Maxima. They are definitely way brighter than the stock HID. Love the consistent color that project. Although in the video after installing the adapter the led bulb dose not click to lock it’s more of a snug fit in the collar. Hopefully the will be no problem with the snug fit collar or the life span of the led bulbs

Hi, sorry for not clarifying. There is a adapter collar that came with the LED bulb. The instructions states to remove the collar from the LED bulb and install it into the housing then lock it in with the bracket from the headlight housing as shown on time 17:17. From there the LED bulb just slide in the collar. On this video you state that the bulb locks into the collar at time 18:18. My set did not come with the notches so therefor it does not lock into place as stated. Lights work great I hope they don’t fall out

You are better off doing an upgrade with 55w ballast or if you go with LED's get any bulb with at least two XHP-70 chips on each bulb, or something comparable. Anything else out there does not even come close yet to stock LED or stock HID. XHP-70 is still the gold standard for both, luminosity and heat resistance. Those chips can run constantly at 140+ degrees celcius without breaking a sweat.

You’re right, it’s funny when i see a car that has an aftermarket LED kit like this and it looks bright but there’s no output whatsoever. My 15 Q50s has oem LED, and those were designed different than these kits.

Hi there. This is by far the best video tutorial on how to convert hid to led, no doubt. My hid on the left side is flickering, sometimes it works sometimes it stops, I assume it’s the ballast since I changed the bulb and it didn’t work. Do you think that with your kit, which replaces the ballast, it’ll work? I’m willing to buy it but you guys don’t ship to Canada so I wanna make sure it possibly will work so I can find a service provider that ships to here... thanks a lot

Hi, this is a set of LED kits, LED bulb and LED driver. The LED driver only works with this LED bulb, totally different HID ballast. So, it doesn't work with HID bulb.

If you don't want to remove the stock ballast and still want to keep HID bulbs, you can just replace the HID bulbs. But if you want to replace the whole HIDs, we would like to suggest you that remove the stock ballast and HID bulbs together. The car in the video is 2013 Infiniti G37, which high beam and low beam work on the same bulb, so this LED has high beam and low beam. This LED bulb replaces factory HID bulb directly. That means if your low beam is HID bulb, high beam is halogen, the LED bulb will replace low beam only(HID bulb). What's your car make, model and year?

Nice!....One question though, I see there is a fan on the back of the bulb for cooling, but being that its in a sealed unit how will that work for cooling efficiency? And will it reduce the life expectancy of the bulb? and price of course. Other than that super clean and nice set up.

Why are you replacing the OEM HID D2S Bulbs? Can you use the OEM Bulbs with the New Headlights? Aren't HID Bulbs brighter and have a wider beam as opposed to LED Bulbs which have a narrower beam? Are the OEM Wiring Connectors used? How long did take to install these?

The LED bulb is a new replacement, custom-made for the HID bulb and ballast as shown in the video. All plug and play. Yes, the OEM wiring connectors still are used. 6000K White color, high power, 50W per bulb. The warranty is 2 year

Will that be an issue number one? Number two can u do this with a 2010. I did the conversation of the blinkers with the ohm resistor LEDs. My G37 Lasfit LED kit did not come with notches, just a rubber o ring and it keeps twisting with no notch locking mechanism. I do know if the led bulb are facing the right direction.

Just turn on turn signal lights and turn off headlights. The function won't be changed after installing LED bulbs.

Hello, firstly, you need to remove out the whole headlight assembly. Secondly, disconnect the cable between HID ballast and HID bulb, and remove the out the ballast.

Why can’t you just take the tire off and get to the light from there instead of taking of the bumper?

It needs to replace the HID ballast, and you can't reach the ballast from there. If you just replace the bulbs, you can take the tile off to replace them.

@@persaudanthony7257 If you bought LA series(LAD2), it no needs to take out the cable from the OEM ballast. Because for LAD2(built-in ballast), it replaces the HID bulbs directly, nothting to do with the ballast.

Find the two wires "+" and "-" from the OEM plug, then use the extension cable to connect the LED bulb. Connect the extension cable to the two wires from OEM plug.
