I honestly never believed that LASHA TALAKHADZE would break the record of the downtrodden Leonid Taranenko with his 266 clean and jerk in 1988. But Talakhadze raised 270! SPECTACULAR HONOR. I consider him the most outstanding athlete at the beginning of the 21st century, a patriotic man, convinced of his faith: an example of virtue and a model to imitate all children and adolescents in the world. I salute all Georgians for having this giant of virtue. I became his fan and vote as the athlete closest to the Greek Olympic ideal. Enough of Usain Bolt-type antics that only deform the sport, corrupt the youth, and deceive the stupid crowd that does not see the corporate and financial interests in these clay idols or hollow sticks, resulting in Western decadence culture.

If he was to compete in strongman he could take as much gear as he wanted and pack even more muscle. That's partially why middle-aged people are competitive on other strength sports at advanced age basically, declining hormone levels by aging are not a problem when you can just take them. Remember Mikhail Koklyaiev? He wasn't Lasha's caliber and he did really well both in strongman and powerlifting. We would never know how he would be, but I'd say that he'd do fine.
