If you wanna see Charles dances craziest role in cinematic history, watch Space Truckers. Its a great and funny movie to watch. Edit: How does she not get the couple of acres joke? Two nuts hurting. Acres meaning pain, a couple means 2-4. A couple of acres means (2 nuts in pain.) Also you guys totally missed the terminator from Terminator 2: Judgement Day as he walked out of the police station. Hes the guy after you see Sharon Stone.

A comedic masterpiece with amazing gags, a great satiric action movie with fantastic acting from Arnold and Charles Dance, F Murray Abraham and the great, great Anthony Quinn, and, of course, it's greatest strength: the best 4th wall break in history of cinema. Priceless film, 10/10.

Release date is what hurt this film. It came out 2 weeks after Jurassic Park. After people were wowed by that film LAH could not complete. It was also very expensive for it's time.

Dear Mrs: you’re wondering about the yelling boss: played by Frank McRae in the 1982 film 48 hrs. He played the exact same role and played it precisely this way. Obviously John McTiernan knew that, cast him to do the same thing (the role is a parody of cop bosses from tv shows). This film isn’t great l, it’s in the “very good “ category. Apparently too many people didn’t understand this is parody of action movies and of Arnold action films too. 3 cheers for John McTiernan!

One nice touch, right after Benedict realizes/comes to grasp that he’s a character in a movie while holding the ticket, you can see the camera crew filming the scene reflected in the glass. Almost like the doors in Westworld. They were always there, but he wasn’t able to perceive them before. Capped off with him talking right to the camera. 🤯

Saw this on a sneak preview a week before it came out (remember when studios used to let theaters do sneak previews? That was awesome). It was this flick at 7, then we got to stay for the late show of Cliffhanger, which had been out a few weeks. I didn’t think Last Action Hero was bad, but I think myself and the rest of the audience weren’t expecting it to be that much of a comedy. You hear “new Arnold movie with the same director as Die Hard,” it messes with expectations. Over the years, though, I’ve liked it more, and the soundtrack is still a banger.

Slight correction. Death is never the bad guy, he's just there when life ends. And the phrase to describe him is Anthropomorphic Personification. I recommend reading the Discworld book series.
