We went Dec of 2022 and did the Winterfest of Lights at the Northside Park. Highly recommended. Did 3 days in the middle of December just to make sure we got to do the things we wanted to in case of inclement weather showing up, it did not. Had 3 beautiful days with temperatures in the upper 50's to low 60's. Stayed at the Aloft that time instead of our usual Hilton or the big Holiday Inn ocean side. Crowds weren't bad. Alot of places still open. Where you and your family did the short cut, the last turn a young boy wiped out in front of us. He was going too fast on his bike and the sand had piled up due to the winds. Fortunately he didn't get hurt. Yeah, we did the bike rental. Love Ocean City Md during the off season. Golf trip in May. I'll let you know about the River Run Golf Villas like you asked me too. Thanks for the videos. Great seeing you and your family out and about. Kids doing kids things. We didn't wear any of that safety gear back in our days either and survived. 😂

Sounds like an awesome trip! December is a great time, especially seeing Christmas at the beach. Winterfest is incredible, they start setting it up in September. Great to hear you guys enjoyed yourselves!

OC MD best shore resort on the East Coast. We traveled down from Philly week before Christmas. One of the reasons was going to the great Winterfest in the huge ( 56 or 58 acre ) North Park to see the 750,000 LED fantastic LED Christmas displays for probably the fifth time in the last 7 years. Always bring home over a $100 in Dollies salt water taffies, mints & fudge. Wife likes the home made fudge they make every day at the Country Store in Fenwick but they were closed for the season.

I thought electric scooters are illegal on the boardwalk because of fire issues. Did that change recently? What a great video. My daughter got me a bucket of Fisher's caramelcorn for Christmas! Only it wasn't warm and gooey. *insert sad face here* .Lasted 1 day. LOL. Happy new year Jay and family!

Right now it says wintery mix to begin at 11am on Saturday converting to all snow later in the afternoon continuing until early Sunday morning ….. that’s if you can believe the report. They’re saying as the storm moves in the temps will drop even more. We didn’t get any snow last year so I will welcome it !!! I’ll report back !!

Great video. One of my favorite places to sit was the rocking chairs at the Lankford hotel before Salty Yarns moved. I'd buy a quick project for my vacation, get Thrashers and sit rocking on my first day of vacation.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Suites on 17th Street. It has an ocean front kids pool and an adult only pool. It is high priced during peak season. Also, I have stayed at the Grand Hotel. Its pool faces Bayside, but it is nice as well.

Nice video Jay. The wife and I were pulling out of the parking lot and saw you and your family getting out of the truck. They had a crowed on the boards this year. We just got back from our walk on the boards today. It was a whole lot different today. Looking forward for the Assateague series that's coming up . Happy New year 🎊🎉
